What you will be working on
As part of our team, you'll be involved in the following key areas:
Strategy Formulation
- Leverage data and advanced analytics to understand and predict taxpayers’ behaviours, enabling us to prioritise strategies aligned with our business objectives
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to co-design and develop new compliance initiatives and products, driving innovation in our field
Data Analytics
- Develop and maintain analytics models for optimization of tax recovery
- Proactively scans and identify relevant new data sources, balancing costs and benefits of data collection and storage
- Utilise cutting-edge analytics tools to explore opportunities and achieve organisational objectives
- Develop interactive dashboards that support reporting and performance monitoring, providing business users with valuable insights and new perspectives
- Promote, train and guide business users to apply analytical tools and enable them to leverage data effectively
What we are looking for
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Bachelor's or above degree in data analytics and statistics-related fields
- Prior experience in data analytics/mining, machine learning and AI
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a logical and organised approach to handling and analysing information
- Inquisitive mindset with the ability to question, probe, and analyse data effectively
- Resourcefulness and the ability to work independently in a team environment
