This role requires a strong understanding of derivatives compliance, particularly in relation to futures trading across exchanges in the APAC region. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in regulatory compliance within trading houses or banks, with a focus on derivatives and futures markets. This position will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory standards and supporting the company’s trading activities across APAC.

Requriements:

• 8 years of experience with derivatives compliance
• Banking or Commodities background is essential

Resposibilities:

• Leadership & Team Development: Supervise a group of senior legal and compliance professionals across the region.
• Legal Strategy & Risk Management: Craft and execute legal approaches that align with the business’s long-term goals, minimizing potential risks and maintaining compliance with applicable laws.
• Enhancing Compliance Frameworks: Continuously refine and update internal processes, ensuring they remain agile and responsive to evolving industry standards and market conditions.
• Strategic Advisory Role: Offer strategic advice to leadership on significant legal and compliance matters, helping steer business direction and supporting the company’s growth trajectory in the APAC region.
• Management of Legal Services: Oversee the provision of both internal and external legal support, ensuring all aspects of trading, business development, and regional expansion are legally compliant and well-managed.
