Quality Lab Support Coordinator (Pharma)

Duration: 6 months contract

Location: Tuas

Salary : Up to $2,500 depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Receive, archive, retrieve and dispose retention sample, following standard work, approved procedures and regulatory requirements in timely manner.
• Maintain proper 5S and ensure inspection readiness of retention sample rooms.
• Perform assigned tasks within stipulated timeline and escalate discrepancies to Reporting Manager.
• Support laboratory supplies stock check, receiving, stock arrangement and disposal as necessary.

Requirements:

• At least O Level qualification and good communication skills
• Proficient handwriting and computer literacy
• Able to work independently and escalate any issues if needed
• Able to move heavy boxes up to 15kg / use heavy ladder for the work to transfer samples/stock checking etc

Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team to help with Automation via Selenium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our web applications. Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation Development:
   Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.

2. Test Planning and Execution:

4. Continuous Improvement:
   Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.
   Continuously improve and refactor automated test scripts and frameworks.
   Mentor and support junior QA team members in test automation techniques and best practices.
5. Application Support and Improvement:
   Able to support application improvement through:
   Review and support refactoring and optimization of application
   Architect and implementing a data schema

Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  2+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium.
  Experience with programming knowledge such as Java, Python, or C#.
  Proven experience in developing and implementing test automation frameworks.
• Technical Skills:
  Proficient in Selenium and test automation tools.
  Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  Experience with version control systems like Git.
  Familiarity with JIRA and CI/CD tools.
  Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), message broker (rabbitMQ) and databases (SQL, NoSQL).

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining Company’s Approved Supplier List to meet Company’s requirements. The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible to ensure quality of the parts/services provided by the suppliers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead QMS (Quality Management System) and Process audit for initial evaluation of new supplier and re-evaluate of existing approved suppliers to comply with ISO 9001/API Q1 and Company’s requirements.
• Monitor supplier's performance, analyze data to identify the risk and drive performance improvement plan to meet company’s supplier quality expectations.
• Lead investigation of Supplier Quality Issues by collaborating with all relevant internal and external stakeholders including Engineering team, SME (Subject Matter Expert), suppliers
• Initiate and guiding supplier to conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) using the appropriate quality tools: 8D Methodology, The 5-Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and other applicable problem-solving techniques.
• Execute Parts and Process Qualification Plan with suppliers.
• Setup Quality Inspection criteria (QIR) for new parts purchased from suppliers.
• Involve in supplier selection with sourcing team to input quality perspective.
• Provide training and addressing supplier’s technical queries.
• Support development and implementation of strategic initiatives when assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing or Engineering or Project Management related functions.
• Preferred with ISO 9001:2015 QMS Auditor/Lead Auditor (CQI/IRCA) certification.

Technical/Critical Soft Skills:

• Well versed in Quality Assurance fundamentals including ISO 9001/API Q1, 8D Methodology, Root Cause Analysis, data analysis and other problem-solving techniques.
