Job Title: Selenium Automation Tester

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Selenium Automation Tester with expertise in Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality of software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, automate test cases, and contribute to the success of large-scale testing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Conduct API and message-based automation testing to ensure seamless integration across systems.
• Implement and manage test data strategies for efficient and reusable testing processes.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and scenarios.
• Execute and monitor automated test cases, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Lead and participate in defect triage meetings to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct performance testing and ensure adherence to performance benchmarks.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members on test automation best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation with Selenium and Java.
• Strong knowledge of core Java concepts and their application in test automation.
• Experience with API automation tools and techniques (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Experience in managing and delivering large-scale test automation programs.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies and workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience working across multiple geographies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in handling performance testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud-based environments for automation execution.
• Familiarity with advanced testing techniques, including security testing and exploratory testing.
