Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
- Assign responsibilities and monitor to project team.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Review ITP, NDT Test plan for individual systems, Quality control procedures and Standard practices for piping installations accordance with project requirements
- Review contractor’s Welders list & Qualified WPS & PQR and also Prepare a New PWPS/PQR/WPS based on the applicable standard for the actual production,
- Review contractors’ technicians, quality personnel qualifications, welder performances, weld repair rates for suitability of the project. And Brief to welder, technique and training for avoid the repair.
- Review NCRs, punches and analyses quality deviations to take corrective measures
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or other related discipline
- At least 5 years working experience in Oil & Gas Industry
- Possess Welding Inspector certificate (CWI by AWS or CSWIP 3.1 by TWI UK Ltd)
- Has attended Internal Auditor Course (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Thorough understanding of the principles and practice of Quality Management systems in process and marine projects
- Excellent written and communication skill
- Possess a resilient and “can-do” attitude
- Possess initiatives and creativity to drive continual improvements
- 5.5 Days Work Week
