Position title: Assistant QC Chemist

• Location: [Bukit Merah]
• Working days: 5 days [ Mon - Fri ]
• Working hours: 8:30am - 6pm
• Salary : SGD $2,400 - $3,200

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily routine Product testing for In-Process Products, Finished Products and raw materials and provide test results report.
• Ensure that all laboratory testing equipment and instruments, sampling instruments, are cleaned and dry and suitable for appropriate tasks.
• Ensure that all required tests are performed in accordance with its test procedures.
• Assist to check and maintain QC Laboratory, premises and equipment in best condition at all times.
• Ensure that retention samples are properly labeled and stored under specified storage conditions and period in accordance with standard procedures.
• Perform tasks according to Good Laboratory Practice
• Perform Housekeeping of laboratory
• Purchasing of laboratory chemicals and lab consumables
• Support in Packaging materials testing in absence of the other Assistant Chemist
• Perform other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Chemistry or science related.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably experienced in FMCG/Manufacturing Industry.
• Must have experience in quantitative analysis using chromatographic techniques.
• Hands-on experience in operating Gas Chromatography (GC)
• Computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Immediate availability will be preferred.
