We are seeking an individual with QA/QC experience in the civil, structural, and architectural ("CSA") trades for the position of a QA/QC Engineer for Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will assist with the QA/QC program throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the candidate will be responsible for assuring the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System and for scope of work related to civil, structural, and architectural items. We seek an individual with QA/QC experience in the electrical trades for the position of QA/QC Engineer for Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will assist with the QA/QC program throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data centre in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the candidate will ensure the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System and the scope of work related to electrical items. 

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed and organized individual with extensive previous experience working as a QA/QC on large, international projects and deep knowledge of electrical systems. There will be a significant amount of “hands-on” work in understanding and implementing the VDC QA/QC systems. The candidate must have excellent leadership and Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium) would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Perform internal audits as per internal audit schedule in accordance to AS9100, and PART-21 Subpart G requirements OR AS9110C and P-145 requirements
• Manage the qualification and authorization of Technician, Inspector and Signatory (APU)/ Certifying Staff (ARU)
• Facilitate training management, by doing operator audits, manage operator certifications, stamp register control, product authorization matrix, and follow up of re-certification
• Support external audits, (Civil Aviation Authorities, customers and Certification bodies)
• Participate and contribute in Production Readiness Reviews
• Perform Product audits in accordance to applicable Definition Files and Manufacturing Inspection Files
