Job Purpose:

Assist the development of the SQE department by contributing to the daily QA operation and maintaining the high level of efficiency for all new models and engineering changes. Provide strong impetus to support continuous improvement in view of meeting all relevant KPIs for the company. Provide a framework with clear structure to build on the need to standardise and implement systems for greater clarity and efficiency. Focus on ensuring that good quality is evident in all aspects of production and serving as the extra confirmation for client products.

Key accountabilities:

1. Review the daily operation activities in the control for quality aspects.
2. Focus and ensure that the in process and outgoing quality metrics are met.
3. Execute the scheduled projects within the approved time frame.
4. Prepare and execute WI for the lines and provide training for the operators.
5. Prepare the engineering evaluations for DOE for new engineering changes.
6. Perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting to the customer and management.
7. Perform QA functions and conduct quality investigations and provide CAR.
8. Conduct client's audits and provide CAR for audit findings.
9. Provide and analyse daily line quality KPI and provide improvement plans for the quality aspects on the line.
10. Provide Customer Satisfaction reports on a monthly basis and provide solutions for quality and time factors.
11. Reconfirm and serve as the final judge for all inspection guidance issues seeking customer approval if necessary.
12. Complies with all safety policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
2. Fresh-entry or 1 year experience with quality background.
3. Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of self-confidence, drive and motivation.

Role Responsibilities:

• Testing of the system during FAT (factory acceptance test) following the test procedures and prepare test and QC reports
• Installation, testing and commissioning of our battery on site at customer sites in various countries
• Provide support and guidance to customer for electrical connection of the battery to renewables, DG and loads.
• Filling of the liquid electrolyte in the battery with strictly following the safety standards, as per service documents provided.
• Testing of PCB circuit boards, relays, BMS components, sensor signals, protection components, ACDB, DCDB etc before turning on of the system.
• Configure battery inverter to set the requirement as per country standards.
• Use of external DC power supply to pre charge the battery, following the service manual.
• Troubleshoot of the various problems that may arise during the operation of the battery including hardware and software issues.
• Remote monitoring of all the battery units deployed and track of operation and troubleshoot problem if arises
• Generate on-site service report and documents clear problem statements and resolving.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline with minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in power management/control Industry. Previous work experience on battery technology would be beneficial.
• You should have strong and relevant background in working in a hardware engineering
• You should be familiar with the various power topologies and design considerations
• You will be frequently required to travel for business.
• You should be good at on-site problem identification and rectifying.
• Hands-on independent problem solver
• Possess knowledge on power conversion systems, like AC/DC Inverters, AC-DC chargers and DC/DC converters, UPS, Battery management System (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

The Manager, Customer Projects, QC will be responsible for coordinating with external customers and working inter-departmentally to enhance communications at all levels and ensure that work activities, compliance and documentation issues are resolved in a timely manner.

• Can identify lab problems, troubleshoot, identify and complete or coordinate corrective action.
• Work inter-departmentally to enhance communications at all levels and ensure that work activities, compliance and documentation issues are resolved.
• Lead and approve report (Example: Method Qualification / Validation, / Investigations).
• Ensuring that the project is completed within the approved budget
• Includes the overall project coordination of resource planning, cost estimating, cost budgeting, and cost control as part of the SOW (Scope of Work) assessment.
• Act as interface with clients, QC, and line management for integrated project budget/resources.
• Ensure that the various elements of the project are properly coordinated including overall coordination of project plan development, project plan execution and change control.
• Manage the process of cross-functional integration of operational activities for the project team.
• Provide expert planning and operational support to the project.
• Contribute to the creation of the development plan/production plan and other project information.

Key requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in a relevant Chemistry, Science field or Equivalent.
• Relevant work experience preferably with Lab experience in a biotech or medically related field.
• Relevant experience and accomplishment to dictate final position for which the candidate may qualify.
• Advantage if candidate is able to lead the shift team to meet the in-process demand samples turnaround time.
• Good understanding of HPLC and Empower software.
• Understanding and execution of spectroscopy, and other assigned methods which may include chromatography methods (HPLC), ELISA, PCR, CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF, icIEF, TOC, Protein concentration (A280 or SoloVPE), osmolality, potency methods, appearance and other physiochemical methods.
• Provide support in HPLC equipment maintenance and qualification.
• Well versed in cGMP regulations.
