Job Description

• Design and execute testing programs in accordance with the applicable local regulations and Head Office requirements.
• Analyze and document observations and discuss with business/process owners and stakeholders to confirm factual accuracy.
• Prepare Compliance Testing reports on review outcomes and findings. • Validate effectiveness of remediation plans to address the risks/root causes identified and ensure proper closure.
• Consolidate results of testing programs and compliance reviews for management reporting.
• Track and report remediation status for LCD-related audit issues to the Internal Audit Department.
• Prepare regular/ad-hoc management reporting.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• Conduct Compliance trainings as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. Degree holder, preferably in business, banking, or finance and professional qualification in financial crime, finance or auditing such as CIA, Diploma in Compliance or CAMS will be preferred.
2. Experience in Audit/Assurance/Compliance Testing function, process control, operational risk management and strong data analytics background will also be considered.
3. At least 1 year of related work experience
4. Good understanding of MAS Notices and Guidelines relevant to BOCSG business areas or AML functions will be essential.
5. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and business partners in other functional units.
6. Strong communication and report writing skills including the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and succinctly.
7. Able to understand Chinese / Mandarin in order to communicate with Head Office.
8. Team player and demonstrated ability to multitask and work independently.
9. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with track record of adhering to timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve on the Quality Management System.
• Assist in ensuring company and business units comply with the company’s standards, customer requirements, local statutory regulations, and International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards.
• Monitor and ensure all company documentation aligns with dnata Documentation System Standards.
• Monitor the accessibility and dissemination of all airline customer manuals to stakeholders.
• Lead the quality assurance program to ensure operations follow standards.
• Plan and conduct annual internal audits with qualified auditors for business units and contractors.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct inspections for the company via the d-auditor tool.
• Review work processes and workflows to improve operational effectiveness and meet KPIs.
• Facilitate external audits with stakeholders and monitor corrective and preventive measures (accreditation ISO 9001, ISAGO, and Airline Station Audits).
• Analyze and prepare data from audits, compliance checks, or other areas as requested for management reporting.
• Collaborate with HQ on projects (e.g., dnata hub modules) as part of continuous improvement.
• Support and assist in workplace incident investigations (if required).
• Review and update the corporate management manual and implement solutions to resolve quality issues.
• Support departments assigned to the company’s Crisis Management Plan.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree/Diploma in Aviation Management from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience managing Quality Management Systems, preferably in airline or aviation services.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISAGO, and experience in audits.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with regulatory authorities, including customs, export control, and tax agencies, while maintaining accurate documentation and procedures in alignment with relevant laws.
• Evaluates internal controls, designs processes, leads compliance audits, and manages corrective actions for the region. Pinpoints compliance deficiencies and suggests areas for improvement.
• Assists in creating and sustaining localized policies for import/export compliance, while ensuring company-wide awareness of regulatory requirements.
• Develops business processes that mitigate compliance risks, focusing on continuous improvement for increased efficiency and enhanced customer service.
• Tracks and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) and compliance metrics to senior leadership, while managing daily import and export compliance reports for the region.
• Establishes the overall budget, operational plans, and priorities for the assigned compliance functions.
• Manages regional compliance projects, including defining scope, budget, scheduling, and addressing project risks for both import and export activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and above
• Posses Customs broker license is a bonus
• Minimum 10 years of experience in trade compliance with 5 years of management experience
• Worked in medical devices or related industry
