Primary support for the QHSE team, ensuring timely dissemination of QHSE documents and maintenance of online QHSE resources in UniSea & SharePoint. Responsible for QHSE data collection and publication of monthly safety publications and reports.
Responsibilities
- Prepare TIMS manuals for new build deliveries
- Arrange for the timely distribution of relevant material (incl. TIMS documentation and other associated ISM & ISPS documents) to TDW’s fleet.
- Prepare and register the provision of Visitors Passes as requested & required by vessels
- Distribute in a timely manner TIMS, Circulars and Safety flashes through UniSea and emails; track & follow up on Dispatch notes (Fleet)
- Diligent & timely filing of documents in line with Company requirements & guidelines
- Update documents in the SharePoint
- Point of contact for One Ocean; collate, distribute & track monthly updates
- Oversee SMC, ISSC, MLC Certification in DNV portal
- Responsible for updating the APAC office ESR monthly; collate & verify ESR data for Vessels
- Maintain HSE stock inventory in the compactors
- Compile Safety Commendations
- Manage ‘Leading by Example’ recognition & rewards program including award of certificate, allocation of monetary reward & recognition in The Bridge
- Process invoices raised for and against the department
- Collate & Compile HSE data for HSE monthly report
- Quarterly QHSE Plan compilation
- Maintain SharePoint for vessel access; liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure the latest version of the supporting documents are readily available
- Coordinate seafarers’ in-house training.
Education: Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in a relevant field such as Nautical Studies, Maritime Operations, Marine Engineering, etc
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of maritime regulations and QHSE best practices.
- Willingness to learn and apply knowledge of TIMS (Tidewater Integrated Management System) principles.
- Interest in maritime safety documentation, including TIMS (Tidewater Integrated Management System), circulars, and safety flashes.
- Ability to learn and use relevant software applications for data entry and document management (e.g., UniSea, SharePoint).
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure proper data entry and document handling.
