We are seeking a skilled Curriculum Developer / QA and QC to design and develop high-quality development programs, ensure the quality and compliance of our academic programs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, strong understanding of educational standards, regulatory requirements, and audit methodologies. This role involves collaborating with industry experts and development partners to create engaging and effective learning experiences, conducting comprehensive audits, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending corrective actions to enhance program effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to identify skill gaps and training requirements in alignment with SkillsFuture Singapore's framework.
- Develop and design comprehensive training curricula, including learning objectives, content outlines, assessments, and instructional materials.
- Ensure that curriculum content is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards and emerging trends.
- Develop engaging learning activities and assessments that promote active learning and knowledge application.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, graphic designers, and multimedia developers to create effective learning materials.
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC procedures and checklists for academic programs.
- Conduct rigorous reviews of curriculum, syllabi, and learning outcomes to ensure alignment with academic standards and program objectives.
- Pilot and evaluate curriculum effectiveness through feedback collection and analysis.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and reliability of assessment tools, such as exams, assignments, and projects.
- Collaborate with academic staff to implement corrective actions and improve program quality.
- Identify and document audit findings, including discrepancies, inefficiencies, and potential risks.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure implementation and effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and SkillsFuture Singapore's initiatives.
Qualifications
- Possess Diploma In Design And. Development Of Learning. For Performance (DDDLP), or Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE)
- Strong understanding of Audit for Private Educational Institutes (PEI) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and principles.
- Proficiency in instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using authoring tools and learning management systems.
- Knowledge of SkillsFuture Singapore's framework and its alignment with industry needs.
