The Quality Manager role requires extensive experience with ISO9001, API Q1, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards, and a strong background in quality assurance within the oil and gas sector. This role will involve developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. It also requires sound knowledge of PCBA, wire harness quality control, and metrology.
Role and Responsibilities:
Quality Management System (QMS):
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO9001 and API Q1 standards.
- Ensure all processes and procedures meet the required quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality management systems.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with ISO14001 and ISO45001 environmental and safety management systems.
- Identify and mitigate safety and quality risks through effective risk management strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to drive improvements.
Team Management:
- Supervise and lead the quality assurance team, including training, development, and performance management.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews for quality staff.
Supplier Quality Management:
- Manage supplier quality assurance programs to ensure the quality of materials and components.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate and improve supplier performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve supply chain quality.
Customer Interaction:
- Liaise with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure these are met.
- Provide quality-related support to customers, including handling inquiries and resolving quality issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experiences:
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and practices.
- Extensive auditing experience with ISO9001, API Q1, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
- Good knowledge of IPC610 and 620, and able to perform internal training
- Experiences in managing metrology lab and the calibration
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and ERP quality modules.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
- Certified internal auditor or lead auditor is required
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent certification is preferred.
