Position Overview:

Vita Coco’s Quality Control Specialist (APAC) will be a key member of the Technical Team. The ideal candidate will support in achieving the company’s quality performance by executing the established goals on quality management:

· Monitoring continuous improvement strategies in all aspects of Vita Coco’s Quality Management by reviewing and tracking the management of quality control data from various sources.

· Support new product launches in a technical capacity.

· Maintain the supplier network quality and food safety operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (FDA/SMA) and third-party audits.

· Identify and execute quality control projects, including training and technical support, and perform regular communication with suppliers to report in non-conformances or quality issues.

Day-to-day activities include but are not limited to: Analyzing and performing production testing; Reviewing lab results received from company-owned or independent labs; Monitoring product integrity; Shelf life testing and similar testing as well as providing reports on product quality to the senior management at large; Maintaining and supporting various quality data systems.

This role requires frequent travel to Vietnam and other countries in APAC.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

· Working closely with the team to achieve quality efforts in APAC from supplier to market.

· Manage and liaise with internal and external audits on our supplier network.

· Partner with Operations & Technical team, and suppliers, to assist with any troubleshooting as required.

· Review all aspects of quality data and provide different reporting and project tracking as requested.

· Collect, analyze, and report on quality data, including lab results and product integrity tests.

· Drive investigations and resolve product quality complaints and compliance issues, providing on-the-ground support and conducting necessary corrective actions.

· Monitor compliance with regulatory and quality standards, participate in audits, and deliver training to suppliers on new products and quality procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor's Degree in food technology and/or microbiology or a similar technical degree · Clear and effective communicator. Able to confidently converse with different stakeholders around the region.

· 2 to 5 years’ experience in quality management and/or R&D in food and beverage, with Aseptic tetra experience is a plus.

· Statistical analysis skills preferred, using various Business Analytics tools such as PowerBI, Python or similar

· Understanding of project management and various project management tools.

· Flexible to work extended hours to meet critical deadlines.

· Available for international travel within APAC region.

Our client, an international firm is looking for a compliance surveillance individual. You will be part of the surveillance team, looking at market, trades or sales transactions. In a team of 4, you will be under the guidance of a very experienced mentor, and will be exposed to an international sales floor.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct transaction and communications surveillance to detect potential market abuse.
• Ensure surveillance activities adhere to agreed procedures and frameworks, following escalation processes and timely issue resolution.
• Review and distribute relevant management information.
• Continuously improve parameters calibration for surveillance processes.
• Manage and contribute to Trade and Communication Surveillance projects.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Assist with audit queries and ad hoc regulatory requests.
• Collaborate with Compliance staff across Mizuho's network, Front Office, Operations, Product Control, and Market Risk for timely investigations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of Compliance experience, with 3-5 years focused on trade and communication surveillance.
• Knowledge of local and global regulatory requirements and industry standards related to market abuse surveillance.
• Strong product knowledge across asset classes, preferably with experience in Fixed Income and FX products.
• Proficiency in PC/Excel skills and familiarity with trade/communication surveillance tools (e.g., Trading Hub, SMARTS, BBG Vault).
• Fluency in English; understanding of Cantonese preferred for trade call surveillance.
• Proactive with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Note: This position requires understanding Cantonese for trade call surveillance, but speaking Cantonese is not necessary.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to Head of Compliance, the Compliance Manager (DCM/Merchant Banking) oversees the regulatory requirements of the Merchant Banking activities of SBI, Singapore. This position is accountable for the effective second-line oversight of the implementation, maintenance and administration of the compliance management.

• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the SBI, Singapore’s Compliance program to mitigate risks of non-compliance and ensure adherence within established compliance risk appetite
• Maintain current knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements that affect the business
• Oversee compliance monitoring activities for SBIS Merchant Banking activities, including oversight of the compliance process, and effectively challenge the business on regulatory compliance issues
• Develop solutions for addressing regulatory issues and recommend appropriate steps to address them
• Follow-up to verify appropriate and timely issue resolution of issues by the business line and report as appropriate
• Report on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls over regulatory risk using established metrics for SBI, Singapore
• Review and submit licensing applications for SBI, Singapore
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to MAS
• Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate and/or required
• Keep records of the KYC and counterparty approval documents

• Provide advisory on ML/TF queries from Business Units and departments of SBI, Singapore in relation to new customers’ onboarding and ongoing transactions

Requirements:

• Graduate in Banking, Finance or other discipline
• Preference may be given to post graduate degree in legal or related field of study, with related compliance certifications a plus
• Candidates with ACAMS or Diploma in Compliance would be preferred
• 5+ years relevant work experience in Compliance in financial services industry, including Compliance management experience in Equity Broking, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Corporate Finance and Securities Trading compliance or equivalent regulatory experience
• Demonstrated expertise in effectively communicating the roles and importance of regulatory compliance, as well as proactively identifying regulatory risk
