Key Accountabilities

About the team

This role is part of the Quality Solutions and Implementation team for TikTok Trust and Safety Operations, and will provide data analysis and insights about the performance of our end to end quality ecosystem. These insights will provide direction to Quality Solutions and Quality Implementation teams to drive improved performance across global Quality Operations and Moderation teams.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for owning and improving the end to end quality solutions and processes, ensuring strong adherence and implementation across regions, for TikTok.

- Design and develop moderation quality processes and strategies by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement a comprehensive moderation quality strategy that aligns with the company's values, policies, and industry best practices.

- Define and establish clear quality standards and metrics for moderation operation (including metrics definition, target setting, etc.). Develop methodologies for measuring and monitoring quality, and implement mechanisms for continuous improvement.

- Lead strategic quality initiatives involving planning, organizing, and partnering with business leaders from the designing stage to the execution stage.

- Proactively identify issues, and improvement areas of enhancements that provide value-added insights and lead/implement strategic initiatives, and conduct an in-depth analysis of existing moderation processes, tools, and policies to identify areas for improvement in quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

- Lead and drive transformational initiatives to optimize moderation practices, including process redesign, technology implementation, and automation strategies.

- Partner with implementation teams to drive change management on a global scale.

- Gather feedback from implementation teams on each aspect of the process, and challenges and resolve potential problems.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above - Experience in Operations, Strategy, Content Moderation, Quality Engineering or Process Design/Process Excellence

- Background in Trust and Safety

- Strong data analysis experience and ability to garner insights from key data

- Regional/Global Stakeholder management experience along with strong influencing skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Qualification in Lean Six Sigma preferred

- Experience in solution design or architecture preferable

About the team

This role is part of the Quality Solutions and Implementation team in the Training and Quality pillar of Trust and Safety Operations. Focused on improving quality, the Quality Implementation Specialist will successfully implement quality assessment systems, solutions, and quality improvement projects across our end to end global quality ecosystem for TikTok. This role will be a key conduit between the TnQ Quality Solutions team and the Quality Operations and Moderation teams with oversight to all impacting change to front line teams.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships across Quality Solutions, Quality Operations, Training & Performance Improvement and moderation teams to drive successful adoption of key quality projects.
• Responsible for the successful implementation of quality systems, solutions and projects across teams and regions of our end-to-end quality ecosystem.
• Provides effective change management and governance across a region to ensure strong alignment between all parts of the quality ecosystem.
• Partners with key regional stakeholders to calibrate, drive consistency in performance and land change effectively.
• Coordinate training needs/requests for new systems/improvements between Quality Solutions, the Training & Performance Improvement team and moderation teams.
• Pro-actively evaluate the impact of upcoming policy/product/process changes for a project in order to co-ordinate and ensure their effective implementation and positive impact end users.
• Partners with key stakeholders to provide a strong feedback mechanism to Quality Solutions to ensure continuous improvement of our quality system.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education, ideally in computer science or business.

- Experienced project/program manager with a strong track record of successfully implementing transformational regional or global projects/programs.

- Lean six sigma qualification or equivalent experience is a plus.

- Excellent command of English, ability to use English as a working language

- Excellent communication skills, stress-resilient and strong ability to adapt to any changes.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong change management experience.

- Strong influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- 1+ years' experience working on content quality, safety or policy is preferred.
