· Coach and mentor Test Engineers I & II to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.

Performance Management:

FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Strategy and Direction:

· Know and understand the campus strategic directions.

· Define, develop and implement Test Engineering strategies, which contribute to the campus strategic directions.

· Provide regular updates to Assistant Test Engineering Manager on the execution of the strategy.

Cost Management:

· Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).

· Utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value.

· Provide feedback to Assistant Test Engineering Manager on cost and cost trends.

TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform duties, which involve conventional engineering practices that may include a variety of complex duties from ICT, FVT, ESS to System level test.

· Manage the engineering test function for standard and/or custom devices.

· Through subordinate supervisors or professional staff, identify and evaluate test procedures and test equipment required to perform quality checks.

· Compile and document data necessary to analyze performance and make recommendations for changes in the testing process.

· Assist/spearhead in the development of special test equipment and software text programs as required for the successful completion of project.

· Assist customer, setup training program for new product testing procedures.

· Provide training and assist test engineers.

· Act as the liaison and technical conduit for assigned customers.

· Explore new avenues and test technologies for quality improvements on product assigned.

· Perform detailed analysis on test quality of product assigned, identify trends and spearhead corrective actions.

· Monitor, through assigned test engineer, all NPI activities.

· Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

· Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a college or university; and five to ten years experience

Responsibilities

· Review/Design/Define overall Test automation strategy, tools and technologies for test automation

· Creating test Strategies, test plans, defining the automation architecture, including specification of all standards, methods, processes and tools to be used

· Understand the requirements, journeys, test cases that are successfully executed for manual testing; these are to be delivered for test automation

· Leads the design & development of the Test Automation scenarios, scripts using Test complete suite (by Smartbear).

· Analyze and understand existing test coverage and automation frameworks, identifying opportunities for redesign, replacement, reusability, and improvement in efficiency and performance

· Execute test cases using Test Complete tool

Requirements

· 7+ years of manual testing experience in BFSI/Payment domains

· Atleast 2+ years in test automation experience with functional, regression, and automation testing tools specifically Test Complete by Smartbear

· Atleast 3+ years in test automation using UFT or Selenium or Browserstack tools

· Experience developing automated test scripts using Test Complete

· Experience in VB scripting, Java scripting

· Experience working in public sector domain

· In-depth scripting knowledge experience for automation support

· Experience in ALM tools like Jira / Microfocus / Rally etc.

· Knowledge of UI testing, web services testing, API testing, device testing

· Experienced in Agile, DevOps, TDD, BDD methodologies and processes

· Strong analytical, problem solving skills with good written and oral communication skills

· Understanding of performance & security testing

· Testing Certifications

• Analyzing process details like pressure, temperature, flow rate, and media (fluids or gases) to select appropriate valves
• Considering factors like valve type (globe, gate, butterfly, etc.), material compatibility, pressure rating, and actuator type (manual, electric, pneumatic).
• Drafting technical documents outlining the required features, performance criteria, and quality standards for the valves
• Working with piping designers and process engineers to ensure proper valve placement and integration within the system.
• Verifying the accuracy and completeness of valve selection and placement within the P&IDs.
• Offering support during valve installation, ensuring proper orientation, bolting procedures, and alignment are followed.

• Diploma in Mechanical/Engineering field
• Experience in valves engineering (projects and operations).
• Experienced in international standards related to all types of valves.
