Job Description

1. Supervise a team of QC Officers in all factories.
2. Guide and troubleshoot for any equipment issues, co-ordinate with external service providers Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated in a timely manner and update calibration records. Assist to keep, control, and confirm formulation and blending procedures.
3. Respond to new and existing customers for inquiries related to quality control Conduct quality testing and communicate product specification issues. Conduct nonconforming material or nonconforming product analysis.
4. Participate in the root cause analysis of nonconforming goods.
5. Follow the instructed corrective actions and preventive actions by superiors. Establish formulation and blending procedures as needed.

Authorities and Responsibilities

1. Ensure all fabrication work is done with acceptable quality by daily monitoring include inspecting according to specification, procedure and applicable standards.

3. Prepare welding methods, PQR assembly and other CWI duties.

9. Implement and maintain a system of auditing the facility and periodic calibration of test, measuring equipment and tools include all documentation, procedure qualification records accordance to customer specification and code.
10. Manage and supervise a team of inspectors / technicians in meeting departmental quality goals and production schedule.
11. Manage customer complaints, corrective and preventive action programs and Administer and manage continuous improvement program for all QA processes.
12. Work closely with customers, production and suppliers to meet the quality requirements.
13. Competence Requirement

• Min. ITE-NTEC/Diploma/Degree level PE/ME or its related discipline.
• Fresh Degree or min 3 years in Quality Assurance in production/fabrication/welding environment or it relevant experience in QC/QA environment.
• Perform CMM programming, smart-scope and QC measuring tools/equipment.
• Certified with welding certification by American Welding Society, Certification Welding Inspector, AWS-CWI. - Optional
• Minimum 3 years of related experiences in welding capacity in structural fabrication.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and reading symbols.
• Understand the quality principles, standards, internal business systems and processes.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and Works well with all levels of staff and technically competent.

• Perform dimensional/functional inspection of First Article (FA), Incoming, In-process or Outgoing parts in accordance to Work Instructions to ensure that components and products conform to specifications.
• Ensure the compliance of equipment and tools use during inspection in accordance to Calibration and Preventive Maintenance requirements.
• Maintain the control of the manufacturing environment and perform gowning as necessary.
