Opportunity:

Play a critical role in driving compliance and quality programs for Healthcare Transportation and facilities and supporting the Healthcare Quality Management System to ensure processes and systems are compliant with regional and local regulations and customer requirements.

Your Contribution:

1. Quality Policies & Procedures: Determine, implement & promote policies and procedures for company Network and facilities (hubs & stations) to ensure compliance to standards such as GDP, GCP and others.

What we look for in you!

The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the onboarding of new clients and new matters primarily in the Firm’s non-US offices, in line with the Firm’s onboarding procedures and compliance policies relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions screening, and Client Due Diligence (CDD).

This role reports directly to the Firm’s Compliance Manager, with indirect reporting into Compliance Partners/MLROs.

Responsibilities include:

Ensure that the onboarding of new clients, matters and third‐party payors comply with the Firm’s internal AML, CDD, and trade sanctions / export control policies.

Respond to queries relating to the interpretation of relevant legislation, regulation and Firm policies pertaining to AML and trade sanctions.

Review new client, new matter and CDD forms submitted by partners, as well as global screening reports generated through a third-party customer screening and risk intelligence tool, to verify compliance with AML, CDD, and trade sanctions / export control policies.

Ensure CDD memos, new client and matter opening forms and supporting KYC documents are filed on the firm’s central database.

Maintain adequate records of the status of client and beneficial owner identification and verification for new and existing clients.

Monitor changes to AML rules and regulations across all applicable jurisdictions and assist the Firm’s Compliance Officer, Compliance Manager or Senior Compliance Specialist, and Compliance Partners with updating/implementing applicable policies and procedures.

Stay current on, and ensure compliance with, new procedures, guidance and best practices; attending AML and trade sanctions courses and seminars as needed or directed.

Ongoing review of CDD documentation held for existing clients.

Conduct training for new and existing attorneys and other relevant staff on the client intake process.

Assist in the submission of AML questionnaires and annual AML returns as and when requested or required by local regulators.

Assist with the Firm’s internal compliance monitoring processes.

Support the Compliance Manager or Senior Compliance Specialists, as applicable, providing cover during annual leave.

Participate in demos and planning discussions with respect to, and assist with testing and/or piloting of, new third-party or internally constructed software applications relating to client intake, AML compliance, CDD, trade sanctions and export control compliance, and client lifecycle management generally.

The Compliance and Operational Risk (C&OR) Specialist is responsible for ensuring the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks in Global Markets Operations in alignment with the global compliance and operational policies and the program.

In this context, we are looking for Specialist II, Quality Operations for our new site based in Singapore.

Key Accountabilities

The mission described below, must be exercised in compliance with health, safety and environment of the site rules.

The Specialist II, Quality Operations will be responsible to partner with the GMP operations team to provide Quality oversight and advice for Quality on-the-floor and operations support to ensure the EVF Singapore GMP Quality operations meets Sanofi global Quality standard requirements and fulfil the applicable regulatory expectations. The Specialist II, Quality Operations shall be experienced in solving complex problems, and strong understanding of cGMP operations and well-versed in multiple Quality systems (including exception management, change controls, deviations/CAPAs and document management system).

• Review and approval of engineering documents related to GMP operations.

The selected candidate will join the Transaction Monitoring Team in the Bank's Compliance Department. He/She is expected to demonstrate understanding of the prevailing AML regulations specific to Singapore. The roles and responsibilities include the following:

• Perform quality assurance reviews for trade transactions and/or remittances including (cheques / cash).
• Perform 2nd level trade transaction reviews and remittances reviews including (cheques / cash) to determine any potential AML/CFT concerns (pre transaction monitoring).
• Review and investigate all transaction alerts generated by Transaction Monitoring system (post transaction monitoring).
• Ensure efficient identification and monitoring of suspicious activities and transactions, and timely reporting of suspicious transactions to the authorities.
• Communicate with relevant Business Units and Operations to provide advisory and expertise on all transaction monitoring matters.
• Assist with daily/monthly AML report checks, updating internal local list, high risk country list, review of watchlist reports and transaction escalation received from Business Units / Operations.
• Undertake other ad hoc duties as and when required e.g. KYC reviews / extract of documents for audit review, provide statistics.
• Maintain a current understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues as well as sanctions, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry best practices, criminal typologies and developing trends.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and any other roles where the Bank is required of you.

The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and Certification from ACAMS or ICA.
• Minimum total work experience 3 – 5 years in the financial industry, which should include minimum of 3 years’ experience in AML compliance or Transaction Monitoring and investigation requirements (trade and other types of transactions due diligence).
• Sound knowledge of MAS regulations (MAS Notice 626, Guidelines to MAS Notice 626 and best practice papers), Sanctions, investigation and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous with an investigative mindset.
• Good written skills for the purpose of detailing findings in investigation reports / memos.
• Team player and proactive and able to take initiative.

Responsible for housekeeping duties in the lab. Perform Quality Tag Out for laboratory equipments such as freezer, water bath and etc.

Support laboratory operations including but not limited to method transfer, equipment qualification, calibration, cleaning and maintenance, purchase and receipt of reagents and consumables, waste management, reagent and media preparation, critical reagent management and document management.

Job Summary

The QC Specialist will work as part of the Quality team to support the QC of day-to-day operations and maintain detailed records for all the tasks assigned. The individual will inspect the products in different stages of manufacturing process such as incoming raw materials, intermediates, in-process and finished good. The individual will also participate in the investigation of nonconforming products and follow-up with the actions that arises from these inspections.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC testing of incoming materials, inprocess materials and finished goods.
• Plan and schedule daily QC routine and ad hoc runs assigned by QC supervisor.
• Evaluate data and create reports, highlighting any notable deviations from current standard operating procedures.
