Position Summary

The APAC Internal Control & Audit Manager leads all APAC activities related to compliance, internal control and internal audit, in connection with the Caldic internal control framework and internal audit program. Caldic APAC operations covers 16 countries.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/ Mechatronics / Automation or equivalent education. Master Degree is an added advantage
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing with at least 5 years in Test Engineering, Test Development environment

What You’ll Do For Us:

This role will oversee the company's trade compliance program, manage transportation and logistics operations, and coordinate with various stakeholders. You'll be working with the Plant General Manager, Plant Finance Manager, Plant Planning Logistic Manager, Trade Compliance Plant Project Lead, Corporate Trade Compliance Manager, OU/CPS Legal team, Share Service Supply Chain, and CPS Corporate Finance Team.

• Stay abreast of international trade laws, customs regulations, and trade agreements to ensure compliance and manage communication with relevant local authorities.
• Work collaboratively with function leaders and stakeholders to follow import/export and sanctions laws and regulations and address operational issues with timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Corporate Legal for engagement with customs authorities and agencies to resolve inquiries, setting up new shipping lanes, SAP set-up, and customs requirements.
• Carry out transportation and logistics operations effectively, managing 3rd party in-plant traffic coordinators and optimizing utilization rate and route of vehicles.
• Deliver training to raise awareness of compliance requirements and best practices amongst employees, while overseeing internal audits to identify non-compliance areas.
• Ensure the completeness of shipment documentation, reviewing import/export documents for accuracy and consistency; Monitor dispatch status and logistics needs, triggering the creation of necessary paperwork.
• Support the execution of the company's trade compliance program, proposing enhancements in line with changing regulations and business needs.
• Manage and validate the invoicing processes with carriers and finance teams, taking responsibility for claim management process and coordination.
• Report compliance breaches or emergencies related to global trade activities, supporting the implementation of contingency plans.
• Work on transportation initiatives with internal and external customers to improve total supply chain performance and ensure smooth and effective transportation of goods.
• Lead the operations team, including a network of internal and external stakeholders, to effectively execute transportation operations for import and export activities and achieve desired business objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of trade compliance experience with a strong understanding of ASEAN, Singapore FTA, and supply chain management.
• University degree in a related field with 2+ years of people leadership experience in a supply chain environment.
• Knowledge in transportation, logistics, Incoterm, trans-shipment, with preferred IATA, IMDG certifications.
• Proficiency in government and supplier relationship management.

Quality and Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

Nuevocor’s Singapore site is seeking to hire a Quality Manager to join our Tech Ops department to support advancing our therapeutic candidates forward. Reporting to the Head of Tech Ops, you will play a key role in setting up, managing and maintaining our Quality Management System and processes in compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced biotech working environment.

Responsibilities

· Implement, manage and maintain a compliant GxP Quality Management System, encompassing the aspects of Quality Risk Management, CAPA, Deviations, Change Control, Quality Documentation.

· Conduct internal and external audits, including at sub-contractor facilities and processes.

· Provide on-site support at CDMOs for manufacturing production.

· Manage supply chain of materials across sites of CDMOs, CROs and clinical trial sites.

· Prepare Quality documentation and agreements.

· Review GxP protocols, reports and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance.

· Develop and deploy the GxP quality assurance strategy as approved by senior management.

· Reports all critical and relevant quality and compliance issues to management.

· Ensures quality assurance expertise is available and effective for GxP operations.

· Provide Quality Assurance review and disposition of GxP products, as appropriate.

Requirements

· Scientific degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields.

· 5-10 years experience in GxP particularly GCP and GMP areas and other regulations applicable in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

· Experience with supply chain and shipping, preferably with biologics materials.

· Knowledge of drug development regulations and implementing GxP in Gene Therapies

· Actively able to manage multiple projects to meet timelines, while maintaining compliance.

The role reports to the Head of Quality and is supported by a Senior Quality Technician on the documentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Document Control System, and Quality System Audit Program.

Responsibilities

System Audit (Internal/Certification Body/Customer/Regulatory) Management

• Lead and coordinate internal quality management system (QMS) audit, and internal environmental management system (EMS) audit
• Prepare and coordinate for successful external audits from certification body, customer and regulatory factory inspections
• Report to management on the NC findings, and coordinate the Root Cause and CAPA for timely closure
• Arrange for awareness training on relevant Quality Management System topics

System Maintenance and Improvements

• Maintain document control systems, to comply with ISO1348, ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards, regulatory and customer requirements
• Ensure that document owners keep their documents up-to-date, accurate and easily accessible to employees who need them
• Ensure that record owners retain their records, complying with applicable requirements
• Support mapping of business process flow-chart, and assist document owners in creating their documents
• Drive continuous improvements related to QMS and EMS, e.g. ESD Control compliance, Recycling rate improvement, e-Document Management improvement, e-Global Asset Management System (Calibration, Preventive Maintenance, etc) improvement

Requirements

• Working experience in the manufacturing industry (Electronics/Mechanical/Bio-Medical/Mechatronics), Life Science Instruments, and PCBA
• Experience in supervision and a demonstrated track record in effectively leading team
• Knowledge in Quality Standard: ISO13485, ISO9001, ISO14001, and FDA 21 CFR part 820
• Familiar with Regulatory Requirements: RoHS, REACH, UL/ETL Product Safety labeling
• Proficient in planning, executing, and leading Internal Quality Audits
