Responsibilities:

The candidate is responsible for the end-to-end testing activities of an integrated e-payment system. The primary responsibilities would include carrying out the activities in the testing lifecycle including test planning, analyzing business and system requirements.

The candidate will also responsible:

· Preparing the test environment, designing, and developing the test cases.

· Preparing the test environment, executing the testprocedures.

· Automating the test solution based on the system design using scripting or programming languages as well as performance tuning.

· Create traceability to requirements, analyze gaps and address them.

· Logging and tracking defects to closure

· Conducting test reviews with internal and external stakeholders.

· Perform root cause analysis for production and user acceptance defects, address test gaps to ensure test efficiency.

· Develop design documents and user manuals which would effectively describe and provide clear instructions on the test automation solution to the end users who include testers and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering

· At least 3 years’ relevant experience in executing testing and developing test automation solutions involving devices (UI-based or embedded) and/or back-office systems with familiarity on the full system development lifecycle from requirement, development, to testing and deployment.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Able to work well both independently as well as in a team.

· Certification in software testing preferred.

· Experience in Micro-payments/Automatic Fare Collection systems using Smart Cards and in diverse test execution phases (System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Performance testing) would be an advantage

Key Skills:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Administration

- Must Have:

o Intensive experience in supporting RHEL for JBOSS/WebSphere/WebLogic, Oracle DB is a must

o Intensive experience in supporting RHEL in DMZ is a must

- Professional understanding of networking related to RHEL and Windows

- Professional understanding of SAN Storage related to RHEL and Windows

- Good understanding of large Data Center Facilities operation

- Hands-On experience supporting various Infrastructure agents like NetBackup, BMC Patrol

- (Mid-Level) vSphere 5.x and 6.x

- Cross-team collaboration with storage, network, security and application delivery

- Technical leadership quality to handle technical challenge and sensitive situations

- Integrate the server automation process either by custom scripts or via third-party solutions(Chef)

- Candidate should have the drive and intellectual horsepower to resolve user issues and support them through telephone, email, or via chat services as applicable

• Enforce an effective QA program, which follows the guidelines of the company QA Manuals, processes, and customer requirements.

• Report periodically direct to Management on performance relating to quality processes, within the projects and the shipyard

• Managing and planning the inspection activities in production, and resource planning for carrying out QA and QC activities, including NDT, Welding inspections; inspection test procedures.

• Monitoring the quality standards of yard and contractors; and the main liaison throughout projects in terms of quality, for both internal and external parties

• To identify and analyze any quality procedural or product issues, and providing corrective action plans for parties to work on

• Acting as the main champion for continuous improvement, and spearheading process improvements within the organization

• Keeping track on the quality standards in the shipyard, and ensure compliance and preparedness for internal and external audits

• Improving quality assurance processes and practices. Involved in the recruitment and mentoring of QA Engineers.

• Overseeing and coordinating the investigation of Customer Complaints and Non-conformities.

• Interfaces with customer representatives in matters pertaining to quality for assigned tasks

• Prepare product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

• Develop and report on Quality Key Performance Indicators

• Liaise with the customer and classification societies on all quality issues

• Ensure the implementation of project Quality Plans

• Review contract documentation/specifications/quality plans to identify the quality requirements and documentation deliverables.

• Conduct any quality hold points/inspections/tests or other customer nominated activities.

• Carry out materials inspections and verify segregation and traceability of materials

• Carry out welding inspections at all stages of the process

• Fit-Up Inspection (Including surveillance of pre-heat requirements)

• In-Process Welding Inspection

• Finial Visual Inspection of Completed Welds

• Witness Production verification activities (Dimensional Inspection, FAT's etc.)

• Carry out sub-contract surveillance activities where required

• Co-ordinate Customer/3rd party inspections.

• Control, populate and sign-off Welding Logs as the works progress

• Ensure the approved project Inspection & Test Plans are adhered too, signed off, and verification documentation is available at the appropriate stages of the manufacture, inspection and test process.
