The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist supports day-to-day QA activities at a multi-product, cGxP contract manufacturing facility. Key focus areas include Quality Systems, QA Validation and Technical Compliance, Quality Compliance (Audit/External), and Quality Operations. The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

1. EN 9100 Certification Preparation:
   • Lead the deployment and implementation of EN 9100 standards within the new factory.
   • Develop and oversee the creation of required process documents, including Quality Manuals, flowcharts, procedures, and work instructions.
2. Process Optimization and Documentation:
   • Conduct process mapping to define and document process flows, interfaces, inputs/outputs, criteria, and KPIs.
   • Establish and maintain dashboards to monitor quality performance and ensure compliance with EN 9100 standards.
3. Auditing and Compliance:
   • Conduct internal and external audits in line with certification requirements (e.g., EN 9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
   • Support and coordinate Management System Certification audits, ensuring successful outcomes.
4. Team Engagement and Communication:
   • Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related activities, engaging with cross-functional teams to align actions with certification goals.
   • Drive team collaboration through effective communication, synthesizing information, pushing action plans, and ensuring feedback loops.
5. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify gaps and areas for improvement within existing processes and implement corrective actions.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EN 9100or ISO 9001 standard deployment or operations.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of EN 9100 standards (ISO 9001 knowledge is acceptable if complemented by relevant experience).
• Proven expertise in internal and external audits, with experience in certifications such as ISO 9001, EN 9100, ISO 14001, or ISO 17025.
• Strong process-oriented mindset with the ability to map processes, define KPIs, and develop dashboards.
• Proficient in creating and revising quality documentation, including manuals, flowcharts, and procedural instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day Quality Assurance activities in accordance with approved SOPs / Policies for a multi-product, cGxP contract manufacturing facility
• A good understanding of cGxPs and compliance in a GxP manufacturing setting performing both supervised and unsupervised tasks
• Receive minimal supervision and able to perform independently on routine assignments
• Revise, review and approve SOPs, protocols, reports or records
• Make real-time decisions on process events on the floor based on knowledge of defined SOPs & policies
• Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal skills which encourage collaboration of individuals or teams to meet objectives
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Pharmaceuticals
• Preferably with 1-3 years of exp
• Familiarity with Regulatory requirements and local Codes & Standards (e.g., FDA, EMEA, and ICHQ7)
• Fair knowledge and experience of the practical and theoretical requirement of quality management system in a GMP facility

Supplier Quality Specialist (9-Month Contract)

Workplace & Transport

• Workplace: Pharma MNC , Tuas
• Transport Pickup Points: Serangoon, Choa Chu Kang, Jurong East, Paya Lebar, Outram, Woodlands
• Duration: 9 months

Key Responsibilities

1. Supplier Corrective Actions (SCARs)Open, notify, track, and close Supplier Corrective Actions (SCARs) in the GTW system.
   Approve SCAR closures as the Quality Contact.
   
2. Material DispositionTrack blocked, on-hold, and quarantined materials to determine their disposition.
   Review and approve the disposition of non-conforming materials.
   
3. Supplier Metrics & EscalationAttend CoE meetings focused on supplier metrics and controls.
   Escalate relevant issues, procedural changes, and projects to management.
   
4. Project Support & ExecutionSupport and execute activities related to projects such as assurance of supply, new product introductions, product or process transfers, and supplier qualifications.
   
5. Change NotificationsReceive and evaluate change notifications from local and international suppliers.
   Collaborate with Global GSQM and interdisciplinary teams to assess the impact of changes on various departments.
   
6. Material EvaluationsCoordinate and execute First Articles and Change Plans for material evaluations related to changes or new qualifications.
   Ensure material specifications are adequate for incoming materials.
   
7. Additional DutiesHandle deviations, non-conformities (NCs), CAPAs, DCCs, CCs, AIAs, CFT meetings, TRs, FSFA, and internal audit responses as required.
   Support all duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
