3. Understand sampling plan and methods of sampling and carry out raw materials and products sampling according to sampling plan.

4. Preparation of laboratory culture media and reagents.

5. Preparation of samples upon request by customers and/or external lab testingpurpose.

6. To tabulate and record all testing results and data into the provided inspection form and master list.

7. Maintain good housekeeping of the laboratory and equipment.

8. Carry out routine inventory checks on laboratory consumables, media and reagents.

9. To inform HOD on lab inventory status to purchase necessary items and equipment for analysis.

10. Report to HOD if any non-conformances found on raw materials and products.

11. To keep retained raw material and product samples according to production date for future reference in case any quality dispute from customers.

12. To file analysis records, external lab test reports and other documents in a timely manner.

13. To assist HOD on other related duties.

14. For ‘Senior QC Lab Tech’, he/she will be the leader to assist and guide other lab technicians.

Requirements:

Min. Diploma/ ITE in Food Science & Technology/ Chemical/ Biomedical or other related fields.

The Quality Control (QC) Technician's primary duty is to ensure that a quality product is produced within a controlled environment. This role is engaged in different testing methodologies, ranging from molecular biology to the latest analytical chemistry techniques. He/She performs annual and quarterly physical inspection and the staging of QC materials and/or production raw materials.
