Quality Systems

1. Supports overall maintenance of quality systems

2. Monitor and reports on the quality performance for Asia Operations such as product quality performance, supplier performance and gaps for continuous improvement to the management team

3. Maintains the Master control and ISO document control system

4. Maintains customer related documents such as Quality Agreement, PPAP

6. Ensures effective implementation of all company quality policies

8. Implements and monitors statistical techniques such as R&R’s to identify opportunities for improvement.

10. Manage supplier and customer programs (CCAR, ICAR and SCARs) to ensure that complaints are handled effectively and timely.

11. Support and work with different stakeholders on reporting, monitoring and resolution on customer complaints.

12. Support and work with Supply Chain and Operation on supplier quality issues.

Auditing

13. Leads ISO quality standards implementation as Management Representative.

14. Conducts and leads quality audits to specific quality standards.

15. Leads customer related audits

16. Conducts supplier audits

17. Conducts internal audit investigations for product quality and process issues

18. Responsible for ensuring timely resolution to audit findings

Training

19. Provides training for all employees on basic quality and statistical concepts

20. Provides training to appropriate personnel for updates and changes to quality policy

21. Attends relevant external training sessions/courses and shares learning internally

Job Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent experience in a field of study such as chemistry, business, accounting, engineering, etc.

• Certificate in Quality Engineering is preferred.

• Position requires 3-6 years of quality management experience.

• Good experience into customer & supplier audit and able to conduct training

• ISO 13845 experience will be added advantage.

• Demonstrates introductory understanding and ability and with guidance, applies competency in typical situations.

• Able to design quality systems to meet customer expectations and internal needs. New approaches and continuous improvement must be ongoing

• Good interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders and deal with situation proactively

BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

Part of the Global Compliance Division, the firm’s Control, Finance & Operating Divisions (“CF&O”) Compliance team is a global team with responsibility for providing compliance coverage to the Control, Finance & Operating Divisions, comprised of Engineering, Controllers, Corporate Treasury, Risk, Corporate and Workplace Solutions, Corporate Planning & Management, Executive Office, Tax and Human Capital Management divisions and business-aligned operations functions. The team has members in Singapore, Tokyo, Bengaluru, Dallas, London, New York, Salt Lake City, and Warsaw.

CF&O Compliance contributes to the compliance mandate by: conducting risk identification, measurement and assessment, monitoring for compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policies, including the identification and investigation of conduct related issues, participating in firm responses to regulatory examinations, audits and inquiries, performing surveillance and investigations of business activities of the above-referenced CF&O groups, testing the effectiveness of controls, writing policies and procedures and communicating regulatory requirements and firm policy expectations to educate others both one-on-one and through compliance learning initiative

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES / YOUR IMPACT

In CF&O Compliance in Singapore, you will cover the (i) CF&O divisions in Singapore, Hong Kong and other Asia Pacific markets, and (ii) Global Corporate Treasury with our Global CF&O compliance team.

You will also participate in region-wide and global initiatives to enact the Global Compliance mandate. To fulfill this role and responsibilities, you will be:

• Conducting risk identification, measurement and assessment
• Monitoring for compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policies
• Participating in firm responses to regulatory examinations, audits and inquiries
• Performing surveillance and investigations of business activities
• Testing the effectiveness of controls

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Advise, challenge and influence the CF&O divisions about regulations, policies and reputational risk
• Identify, investigate and manage compliance issues involving the CF&O divisions
• Analyze regulatory changes and enforcement actions to assess the impact to the CF&O divisions, and participate in work to ensure the business is able to support new requirements
• Review surveillance alerts and conduct forensic reviews to monitor the CF&O divisions’ compliance with regulations and firm policies
• Recommend compliance testing work to be performed for the CF&O divisions
• Draft and assist in the implementation of policies and procedures
• Develop and deliver communication and training to the CF&O divisions

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

A strong candidate for CF&O Compliance will satisfy the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in relevant field (e.g., J.D., LL.M., M.B.A.) is a plus but not required
• At least 5-7 years of work experience, including 3 years as a compliance officer or in a risk management role focused on regulatory requirements
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore Banking Act and the Singapore regulatory environment is an advantage
• Strong understanding of EU and US regulation (MIFID II, MAR, Dodd Frank, CFTC, SEC) is an advantage
• Compliance/Legal/Regulatory background covering Corporate Treasury / Treasury trading functions is an advantage
