Primary Function:
- One of Core Diagnostics’ (Core Dx) strategic imperatives is to promote our end-to-end solution and create differentiation in the mind of our customers.
- Digital Health Solutions (Informatics), instrumentation and automation are critical components of this total solution that enhance the operational performance of the labs and need to be marketed accordingly.
- The primary focus of this Marketing Manager is to develop strategies to create demand with our portfolio mentioned above to gain significant share in the Asia Pacific region.
Major Responsibilities:
- Drive initiatives that will facilitate faster adoption end-to-end solution with a focus on Digital Health Solutions (DHS)
- Demonstrate value of Abbott’s DHS to catalyze faster adoption in the market
- Build reference sites and proof points of the total solutions offering
- Manage all relevant marketing/ad-promo materials targeting both in-lab and outside-the-lab-stakeholders
- Monitor competition and develop appropriate responses
- Achieve Area plan revenue for DHS Solutions
- Improve DHS penetration in deals and in current customers
- Drive new marketing approaches/opportunities for customers and keep abreast of customers needs, competitors, technology, marketplace changes
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline. MBA is preferred
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with ideally 5 years of experience managing healthcare informatics/digital health solution products in sales/marketing
- Proficient in healthcare marketing
- Prior experience in diagnostics/lab environment preferred
- Strong team player
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to travel for up to 40% of the time
- Strategic thinking skills and customer driven
- Results driven individual who challenges the status quo
