Role Purpose/ Objective: To take charge in acquiring new clients, generate leads, identify client's needs, design compelling solutions, pricing to close the deal.
1. Business Development & Sales
- Ability to develop new business and manage existing accounts;
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate client needs;
- Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, presales demo, marketing activities, leads follow-up, business networking and partner and supplier relationships;
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media;
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their requirements and concerns;
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data;
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations;
- Participate and pitch on behalf of the company in meetings or conferences;
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections;
- Prepare sales quotations and follow up on purchase orders;
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, distributors, resellers, manufacturers and other relevant stakeholders on quotation and negotiate pricing;
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results;
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams;
- Collaborate with the Project, IT and Technical teams to ensure seamless handover of works to meet client requirements and provide excellent service delivery.
2. Other relevant duties
- To abide to, and champion, the company's physical laptop security policy.
- Assist the team on set-up and installation when required.
- To perform any other relevant tasks as and when required.
