Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to focus on external sales within the Sustainable Waste Management sector. This role will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities, building lasting relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth in the waste management industry. The successful candidate will work independently in the field while collaborating with internal teams to design and deliver tailored solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

• Identify and generate new business leads through market research, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
• Qualify potential clients and build a pipeline of leads within target industries (commercial, industrial, residential, etc.).
• Conduct outreach to prospective clients to introduce BNL’s waste management solutions.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

• Develop and present tailored proposals to prospective clients, ensuring alignment with their waste management needs.
• Manage and grow long-term client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements, securing new business and expanding existing accounts.

Market Research & Trend Analysis:

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to identify growth opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in waste management technologies, regulations, and sustainability practices.

Sales Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute sales strategies, campaigns, and initiatives aimed at driving growth.
• Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs in alignment with the company’s business objectives.

Customer Service & Issue Resolution:

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any issues or concerns.
• Provide ongoing support to clients to ensure continuous satisfaction and optimal waste management solutions.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Track and report on sales activities, opportunities, and outcomes to the Business Development Manager.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports, providing insights into market trends and sales performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Business Administration/Business Management/Sales & Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience (at least 2 years) in business development or sales, preferably within the waste management, environmental services, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of waste management practices, sustainability solutions, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to build the brand and attract new business.
