We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic part-time teachers to conduct Phonics and Reading enrichment classes for young learners aged 4 to 6 years (N2, K1, K2). If you have a background in early childhood education and enjoy nurturing children’s literacy skills, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and interactive Phonics and Reading classes for small groups of children.
- Manage a group of 3 students per session (with the possibility of additional students).
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Ensure each child’s progress in phonics and reading comprehension.
- Communicate with parents about students' progress.
What We Offer:
- Lesson plans and materials will be fully provided.
- Flexible working hours: 1-hour sessions each.
- Competitive pay: $30 per session for 3 students.
Additional $5 for every new student in the group.
- Locations: Classes are conducted at Boon Keng and Potong Pasir.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of phonics teaching methods is essential.
- A background in childcare or early childhood education is a strong advantage.
- Prior experience working with young children is preferred.
- Patient, creative, and energetic individuals with a passion for teaching.
Work Schedule:
- Weekly 1-hour sessions (exact timings to be discussed).
