Job Brief:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Manager to join our AI and technology company based in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a strong track record in sales and business development, especially in the tech and AI sectors. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence both locally and regionally. This is a position with basic pay + commissions.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Identify and nurture new business opportunities across diverse sectors
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a smooth handover to the delivery team
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline providing accurate forecasts and reports to management
- Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Identify potential markets, clients, and industry verticals for the company’s products and services
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients’ decision makers, product owners etc.
- Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and industry demands
- Partner with government agencies, trade organizations, and venture networks to explore new market opportunities
- Use social media to propagate marketing messages and source new leads
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention
- Understand client pain points and work closely with the technical team to propose customized AI solutions
- Conduct regular account reviews and performance evaluations to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership:
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase AI solutions and build brand visibility
- Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to drive informed decision-making
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients
Requirements:
- Preferably at least 2-5 years of working experience in enterprise facing tech or solutions sales, marketing, business development, partnership roles, or related sectors
- Minimum qualification of Polytechnic diploma or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field
- High-energy, results-oriented mindset with a passion for technology and innovation
- Strong networking skills and ability to build long-term partnerships
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken
- Proven ability to open new markets, establish pipeline, secure sales deals, engage customers, execute business development, establish new partnerships, manage projects through completion independently and handle administrative tasks efficiently
- Capable of multitasking and managing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of AI solutions, applications and industry trends
- Adaptable to diverse, cross-cultural work settings
- Eager to learn and take on new challenges
