Responsibilities:
- Aligning IT strategies with overall business goals and analyze business requirements and technological trends to develop strategic IT plans that enhance efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness.
- Responsible for managing resources such as budget, personnel, and equipment efficiently. This involves allocating resources effectively to projects, ensuring that projects stay within budget, and optimizing resource utilization.
- Lead and supervise a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, developers, analysts, and support staff. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure that the team operates cohesively and efficiently.
- Oversee various IT projects, from conception to completion. This includes defining project scope, setting timelines, allocating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Work with external vendors and service providers to procure software, hardware, and services. Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure that the organization receives the best value for its investment.
- Responsible for ensuring the security of the organization's IT infrastructure and data. This involves implementing cybersecurity and security measures, such as firewalls and encryption, monitoring for security breaches, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Evaluate new technologies and assess their suitability for the organization. Oversee the implementation of new systems and technologies, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Oversee the provision of technical support to end-users and ensure that their IT needs are met. Organize training programs to educate users about new technologies and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to IT systems and infrastructure. This includes developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure that critical systems can be restored in the event of a disruption.
Job Requirements:
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
