Contract Duration: 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break).
- Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break).
- No work required on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Discipline Management:
- Assist the Discipline team in overseeing and managing students’ discipline, ensuring orderliness and adherence to school rules.
- Conduct daily patrols within the school premises to maintain discipline and prevent misconduct.
Support Discipline Team in Case Management:
- Be involved in managing cases for students identified as at-risk.
Conduct investigations for disciplinary cases, prepare reports, and follow up with the relevant personnel.
Parental Engagement:
- Assist in conducting house visits with school personnel to follow up on student-related matters.
- Make follow-up calls to parents regarding disciplinary issues or student progress.
Detention Centre Management:
- Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing the daily activities in the in-house detention centre.
Student Appearance Checks:
- Perform regular spot-checks to ensure students maintain a neat appearance in terms of attire and hair grooming.
Event Support:
- Support the Discipline team during school functions and activities (e.g., Speech Day, Sports Carnival, Level Camps) to manage student behavior.
Other Duties:
- Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the school’s leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Preferably 5 years of experience working in schools or related areas, with a focus on student management and discipline.
Experience:
- Prior experience in managing the discipline of secondary school students is preferred.
Skills:
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with staff and teachers on student-related matters.
- Good communication skills and able to engage effectively with parents, students, and staff.
Eligibility:
- The contract staff must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
