[What you will be working on]
•Responsible for assessment and compliance audits of clubs and associations, which includes trade associations, managements corporations, town councils, approved pension and provident funds, mutual benefit organizations and exempt bodies such as 1st Schedule cases, trade unions and co-operatives.
•Evaluation and approval of Section 5 pension or provident fund.
•Responsible for the assessment of income of estate, private trusts, settlements and Unit Trusts.
•Processing applications for artefacts, computers and public sculpture donations.
•Evaluate application for double tax deduction scheme for approved grant-makers.
•Answer to enquiries at the counter, over the telephone and via snail mails and emails.
[What we are looking for]
•Bachelor’s Degree/Polytechnic Diploma (preferably in Accounting or Business Administration).
•Good knowledge of principles of accounting and taxation laws relating to businesses.
•Preferably 2 to 5 years of practical experience in dealing with taxation of businesses. Experience in taxation law relating to bodies of persons is a plus.
•Meticulous and analytical.
•Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
•Resourceful and able to work independently in a team environment.
