Job Purpose

ICE Fixed Income & Data Services is streamlining the system - Featuring high quality and market-leading data, our end-to-end solutions create exceptional insights that drive performance. We currently have an opening for a sales professional, a “hunter” who will drive sales growth with new customers and generating additional business within existing accounts. Connecting clients to solutions through collaboration with product and sales teams across ICE Fixed Income & Data Services and ICE Exchanges. The focus will be on growing business by deploying a targeted sales strategy, building pipeline and cross selling between the existing business lines. Work in collaboration with Account Managers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell within the existing account base. This role is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual who relishes being at the forefront of business activities and thrives on successes through collaboration. We seek an aggressive hunter with polished sales, pipeline management, territory management and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the commercial strategy for territory, taking into account industry/regulatory requirements, market trends and client requirements
• Client meetings, presentations, and preparation of RFP/RFI responses
• Exceed Individual sales quota
• Develop and nurture strong client relationships in particular with the ‘C-Suite’ and Senior Managers
• Produce accurate revenue forecasting for new business sales and keep an up-to-date pipeline, contacts and visit records in SalesForce CRM system
• Develop an understanding of, and stay current on, the ICE Data Services products and solutions and their application to the market in Asia Pacific and internationally.
• Understand make up of client base and assist sales team in putting in place territory plans to meet objective
• Work with other senior leaders across the globe to drive top line revenue growth.

Knowledge and Experience

• Knowledge and understanding of Fixed Income and Derivatives or strong background in Financial Institutional markets preferred

• Proven track record in quota-bearing roles including successful execution of complex sales and negotiations

Job Purpose

The Pre-Sales Team of ICE Data Services provides professional, detailed, customer-focused support to position ICE in providing pricing and analytics data solutions to the buy side, sell side and other financial institutions within APAC. The specialist role is to act as a product and delivery system expert as well as providing support at every stage of the sales and implementation process. This role will have primary ownership for assigned opportunities to ensure proposed solutions are implemented according to best practices, meet the business and technical requirements of the customer and ultimately result in a successful sale.

The Pre-Sales specialist is expected to become a technical expert in ICE Data Services Pricing and Analytics product offerings and to act as a consultant to the Sales organization as well as other internal and external groups. Technical discussions and presentations to clients will all be an integral part of the role, as well as interacting with internal teams on technical aspects of the solution.

Responsibilities

The role’s core responsibilities center around the technical support of the sales life cycle including:

• Work with the customer to understand and document their requirements, and design the most effective solution for their needs, based on the platforms and services that ICE has to offer.
• Mapping out client requirements including qualification and documentation of prospect’s coverage and internal systems, including third party software.
• Perform coverage checks upon initial requirement gathering with the client.
• Proposal and presentation of market data solution. The process will include determination of correct data delivery method and compliment the data gathering function. The output will include content coverage spreadsheets, flow diagrams and other supporting materials.
• Support any trial and proof-of-concept efforts to help a prospect through the evaluation phase.
• Maintain clear record of activity, track and report progress when needed.
• Respond to all technical client queries in a prompt and informative matter; lead or attend client calls/ meetings as needed.
• Assist the Sales team in the contractual process and providing the relevant supporting technical documentation/ information.
• Upon contract closure, coordinate the effort across a range of teams globally to implement the solution; working alongside product teams, business development teams and network teams; eventually handing off to Client Services.
• Provide critical feedback to product management on product enhancements
• Market and product training internally and to clients on a continuous basis
• Being a self-learner and keeping up to date with products & solutions offered by ICE Data Services
• Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of the various platforms and services available within the region and be able to effectively discuss all the products we can offer, including customized data services and the underlying platforms
• Performing product demonstrations for Clients and managing following-up discussions on ICE’s pricing and analytics desktop solutions.

Knowledge and Experience

• Spoken and written fluency in English and Korean is a requirement. Knowledge of any additional Asian language is an advantage
• A minimum 3 years of experience at financial institutions
• Strong financial markets knowledge and experience working on different asset types: Fixed Income, Equities , Derivatives, Structured Products
• Experience and knowledge in one or more of the following data sets: Reference Data, Sustainable Finance, Corporate Actions, Evaluated Pricing, Listed market pricing
• Experience working on market data desktops/terminal solutions and successfully helping with solutions for Clients on their specific workflow requirements
• Proven track record in presales consulting role working through the whole sale life cycle - requirement gathering till the successful service implementation for Clients
• Good understanding of market data delivery mechanisms such as API, SFTP will be key for this role.
• Proven track record for understanding of the urgent nature of our business and the need to proactively find and fix problems quickly and effectively. Takes ownership and follows through on decisions; doesn’t minimize or forget about problems
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office
• Project management experience is a bonus

Job Purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing and events assistant to help support ICE’s marketing efforts in APAC. The position is responsible for supporting ICE APAC Marketing across the board, including event planning and execution, campaign support, social media, data analysis, and more. ICE is a fast-paced and dynamic workplace; the right candidate will be self-driven, well-organised, and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns
• Creating and planning content for social media accounts, monitoring success and engagement

Job Purpose

ICE Fixed Income and Data Services (IDS), a leading provider of financial market data, has an opening in a team of highly specialized real-time market data specialists who support the real-time feeds and desktop business verticals.

The individuals on this team acquire and maintain a detailed understanding of Exchange and other 3rd party market data “raw” feeds, and the associated market conventions for those sources. This knowledge will then be applied to produce the business requirements documents which will be used by the technology team to write software which consumes and normalizes the market data into IDS’s standard data model.

The individuals on this team are expected to be the “go to” people for all questions regarding the “raw” feed technical specifications, how they are translated into IDS’s standard data model, and the local market conventions which drive those decisions. The individuals will be responsible for both establishing rules for new feeds as well as articulating requirements for changes to existing feeds as they arise. Team members also interact with client facing staff, and sometimes directly interact with clients, in order to determine exact requirements for enhancements and modifications to existing data presentations.

Responsibilities

• Understanding Market Data Conventions - Achieve deep understanding of the market conventions for each relevant data source (market conventions include such things as how instruments are traded, special trading conditions that can occur and how they impact various derived data such as VWAPs, daily highs and lows, etc., trading units, minimum trade sizes, etc). Market Data Conventions must be understood from the perspective of the provider (exchange), the vendor (IDS), and the customer.
• Writing Content Requirements - Review new or modifications to feed specifications provided by the Exchange or 3rd party source, and translate such specifications into detailed and documented business rules for the Development team to implement. Such rules include mapping of incoming fields to the IDS data model, defining appropriate rules/business logic for correctly calculating derived data such as VWAPs, highs/lows, normalizing trade condition codes into the IDS global standard, and defining how fields need to be presented to customers (e.g., ensuring proper scaling of numbers).
• Ownership of Requirements - Ensuring all requirements, both new and changes, are reviewed, acknowledged, and properly handed off to the appropriate technology and business teams as quickly as possible.
• Monitoring for Changes - Monitoring exchange and 3rd party source change notifications, and ensuring that tickets are immediately raised and analyzed for impact to accommodate the change.
• Content QA Support - Working with content QA teams to ensure any new/changed data is appropriately tested to ensure compliance with the business rules defined by this individual in the aforementioned requirements documentation.
• Proactive Improvements – Proactively review of existing market data implementations, followed by sensible suggestions for improvements based on knowledge of local and global market conventions.
• Reporting / Support – Keeping appropriate managers and other groups informed of progress in key areas of market data content changes and improvements. Supporting appropriate client facing personnel in matters of content modeling and quality, with a view towards superior client satisfaction and increased sales.

Required Basic Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand technical specifications provided by Exchanges and other 3rd party sources
• Prior experience working for a market data vendor, specifically in the area of real-time data feed processing, either as a business analyst or a content specialist. Ability to explain challenges with respect to ingest and normalization of real-time market data.
• Ability to acquire detailed knowledge of market trading rules and conventions for various Exchange and other 3rd party / OTC venues through independent research, networking amongst internal and external peers, industry forums, reference materials provided by the Exchanges and other 3rd parties, etc.
• Ability to create well written, concise and comprehensive business requirement documents which clearly define how Development should implement support for a new or modified market data feed such that it conforms to the IDC defined data model standards and any and all relevant local market rules and conventions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of ‘raw’ exchange feeds across at least one geography but preferably across multiple geographies. Global knowledge is best in class. Expertise in C&E markets is a plus.
• Experience in quality assurance in either software or content products
• Knowledge of financial services, data vendors, end user customer firms
• Bachelor’s or equivalent university degree
