We are seeking for a competent and result-driven Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales team towards success. You are responsible to plan, execute and motivate the sales team to achieve/ exceed the sales target and provide an excellence customer experience.
Responsibilities:-
- Develop and execute annual operating budget forecast and strategic sales plan for the Sales Department, aiming to exceed sales targets.
- Identify and implement selling strategies to enhance sales and profitability.
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge within the team by studying automobile characteristics, features, and competitive models.
- Stay updated and compliant with relevant regulations, particularly those set by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create advertising campaigns and promotional activities.
- Manage vehicle inventory effectively.
- Provide exceptional service to maintain and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers, fostering business growth.
- Handle customer inquiries and issues with integrity and promptness.
- Maintain sales records database and generate regular reports for management review.
- Provide guidance, distribute daily tasks among the sales team, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Fulfill any other duties assigned by management on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Business Management/ Administration or relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the automotive industry with proven track record in achieving sales target.
- Valid Class 3 license with minimum 2 years of driving experience.
- Excellent in both written and spoken English.
- Excellent organisational, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Meticulous and able to meet tight deadlines.
- An independent, resourceful and strong ability to position products against competitors.
- Ability to work well in a team
- Able to work on rostered weekend and public holiday.
