Job Description

• Prepare and file corporate income tax and GST returns
• Work with tax agents on ACAP renewal and transfer pricing documentation
• Manage the annual renewal process for GTP incentives
• Respond to IRAS queries and assist with tax audits
• Prepare tax provisions, deferred tax, and investment allowance calculations
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and industry standards
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accountancy/Business or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
• Candidates with professional qualification like CA, ACCA, CPA, or tax accreditation are highly encouraged to apply for the role
• Experience with energy/ oil and gas will be beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Meticulous and detail-oriented

• Perform the compilation and analysis of management reports for the weekly cash flow report.
• Contribute to the month-end consolidation process for Best Estimates and Actuals, including tasks like data validation, loading, posting consolidation entries, and preparing reports for management.

• Produce monthly and ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting materials as required.

The Successful Applicant

• At least 2 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Degree/Diploma in Finance or ACCA
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in SAP, HFM and Hyperion (Essbase) will be a plus
• Working knowledge of Mandarin as candidate would be exposed to China market and would be required to communicate with stakeholders in China.

• Support the monthly consolidation process, including financial statement preparation and consolidation file maintenance
• Contribute to the preparation of SEC financial filings
• Conduct balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA/CA qualified with at least 2 years of consolidation and reporting experience with initial years from the Big 4
• Proficiency in SAP, Hyperion or other mainstream ERP systems
• Proven ability to implement and oversee automated financial systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, take up challenges and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to details, able to work independently and think critically
• Ability to start on short notice
