Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist (Sales & Marketing Assistant) is responsible for creating and maintaining various types of content and driving marketing efforts in collaboration with distribution and direct system integration partners.
The role involves creating and disseminating customer communications, developing sales materials, ensuring the up-to-dateness of online and offline media, and managing reference cases. Additionally, the associate will focus on building strong relationships with partners, supporting their marketing activities, and providing them with necessary sales and marketing materials. The associate will also be involved in planning and executing local events, including trainings, seminars, exhibitions, and community events. Furthermore, the role encompasses media relations and social media engagement, including establishing relationships with key media partners, co-developing media content, initiating interviews and industry awards participation, and leading social media content creation and engagement.
Essential Functions/Core Duties:
Content Creation and Maintenance
- Creation and dissemination of customer communication (e.g. sales mailings, regular partner communication)
- Development of sales material (one-pager, catalogs) and creation of presentations (e.g. PPT)
- Ensuring the up-to-dateness of online (websites) and offline media (product catalogs)
- Responsibility for the creation and execution (incl. English translation) of reference cases (write-up/video)
Driving Marketing Efforts of Partners
- Building a strong relationship with our distribution partners and direct accounts.
- Supporting their marketing activities and provisioning of needed sales and marketing materials.
Local Event Support
- Planning, organization (invitation process) and execution (incl. evaluation) of trainings and seminars
- Realization of exhibitions and Q-SYS community events (in cooperation with business partners).
Media Relations and Social Media Engagement (B2B)
- Establish relationships with key media partners.
- Co-development of media content (copy writing, English translation) and distribution.
- Initiation of interviews and participation in industry awards.
- Leading social media content creation and engagement.
Experience & Qualifications
- Fluent in both written and spoken English. Other Asian languages is a plus. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively working with local teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field is typically preferred. Relevant certifications or specialized training in marketing or content creation would be a plus.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years working experience with similar position.
- Prior experience in marketing, content creation, or related roles is required. Experience in B2B marketing and familiarity with the Southeast Asian market dynamics and cultural nuances would be advantageous.
- Experience in creating engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels, including written materials, presentations, and social media platforms. Strong copywriting and editing skills are necessary, along with attention to detail.
- Experience in planning and organizing events, such as trainings, seminars, and exhibitions. Familiarity with event management processes, including invitation processes and post-event evaluation, would be beneficial.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, direct accounts, and media partners. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset are important for collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience in digital marketing strategies and social media platforms. Experience in managing social media channels, creating engaging content, and measuring performance metrics would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to different cultural norms and practices.
- Candidate is expected to work independently with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, coupled with creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- The candidate should be able to initiate innovative marketing strategies to help with sales and growth of the South Asia market.
