The Red Hat Globally Centralized Tech Sales Operations team is looking for a Senior Operations Analyst to support the APAC Tech Sales team. In this role, you will partner with APAC Tech Sales and Sales leadership teams to advise them on their go-to-market strategy, sales forecast and cadence, and fiscal year plan. You will compile, analyze, and interpret sales data to make data-based decisions. You'll need to be able to understand complex financial problems and provide explanations and solutions that are sound and clearly communicated. You will need to have expert level capability, understanding, and interpretation of RH tools and resources and be able to train and translate to sales. As a Senior Sales Strategy and Planning Analyst, you will also need to have excellent communication skills and ability to support multiple teams.

What you will do

• Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner to the APAC Tech Sales Leadership team Vice Presidents and their organizations.
• Guide, train, and influence business leaders to drive adoption and utilization of standardized metrics, tools, and dashboards.
• Provide forecast analytics that will improve the leadership team’s ability to guide the business and surpass targets.
• Develop analyses, KPI metrics, and weekly packages/presentations that will provide insight and direction to sales leadership.
• Use your deep knowledge of the business to build financial models and performance metrics for fiscal year planning.
• Tackle ad hoc tasks as needed and juggle multiple projects and initiatives.
• Serve as the consummate team player who will advise, support, guide, and motivate colleagues.
• Effectively collaborate with other business support teams like Global/GEO operations, Data Teams, and Incentives on deliverables.
• Work extended hours during planning, quarter-end, and year-end periods when required as well as flexibility for various time zones.
• Develop an understanding of Red Hat’s workflows and a deep understanding of our practices and policies. Continuously look for ways to improve productivity or the level of services provided to the business.

What you will bring

• 8+ years of experience in a financial/business analyst role or similar capacity
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a similar capacity, Masters or MBA preferred.
• Expert level Excel/Google sheets skills with complex formulae writing and automation capability.
• Well versed in business tools: Tableau, Anaplan, Google suite, RHSC, etc.
• Strong executive presence with exceptional verbal, written, and communication skills in portuguese, english and spanish.
• Ability to be flexible, pivot quickly, take on ad hoc tasks as needed, etc.

The OpenShift Sales Specialist for AI assumes a pivotal role in providing expert sales support for the seamless execution of Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies related to Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI) in APAC. This role involves leveraging AI strategically to help our customers make the most of their unique data, giving them a competitive edge. It includes tasks like training, building, and managing AI models to achieve significant business outcomes. The successful candidate must possess a unique blend of domain expertise, adept relationship management, and technical prowess to bolster sales initiatives effectively.

The ideal candidate will boast a track record of leadership in steering successful AI initiatives within enterprise settings, whether through direct sales, ownership as a product lead/technical expert, or engagement in consulting projects. Demonstrating the ability to usher these initiatives into production while showcasing tangible business value and outcomes is paramount. This remote role assumes GEO-level ownership, encompassing both business and technical responsibilities.

The role necessitates a diverse set of customer-facing skills, spanning interactions with data scientists, developers, and professionals to C-suite executives. Engaging in evangelism conversations and activities is a key facet of this position. A significant portion of the role involves consulting on GTM strategies with Product Business Units and providing mentorship in the execution of winning sales plays in collaboration with Cloud Service Providers, SIs, and third-party Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).

Establishing and nurturing relationships with System Integrators (SI)/Regional SIs, Cloud Service Provider account teams, and key executives is integral to the role. These connections play a pivotal role in collaborative selling efforts and contribute to the development of a robust AI partner ecosystem. Proactively managing and expanding these relationships is a requirement.

The foundational expertise of the candidate is instrumental in facilitating and expediting GTM execution drawn from firsthand experience in navigating the challenges of implementing AI within enterprises. This relatable, experiential knowledge enables this individual to propose credible Red Hat solutions tailored to address customer challenges. As the center of gravity for our RHOAI GTM, the incumbent should feel at ease articulating a narrative centered around AI delivery, grounded in prior experiences. This role may carry a Team Lead designation.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Consult on and enable successful execution of RHOAI GTM
• Be the virtual leader for in GEO RHOAI sales tactics
• Educate customers and stakeholders alike on the value of Red Hat’s RHOAI solution
• Lead and enable on hyper-competitive sales situations for RHOAI
• Be a geo-level bi-directional conduit of GTM for RHOAI between sales, P&GE, marketing, enablement, customer success, and SRE/CEE
• Work closely with AI business unit and engineering teams by providing feedback and identifying gaps in the offering
• Build lasting relationships with cloud providers, ISVs, and other 3rd parties for joint GTM
• Interface with regional sales leadership for account planning and GTM

Required Skills

• Computer Science or other technical degree w/ MBA
• Previous experience as a sales engineer, technical sales, or similar role (preferably Technical and/or Sales role experience working directly for hyperscalers or in partner ecosystem)
• 5+ years of Data Science/AI application development experience, including leadership roles
• 2+ years of consulting experience with major SI
• Product management or ownership role
• Extensive community brand in circles such as AI User Group or other AI Communities
• Ability to facilitate demonstrations of Red Hat AI solutions and products and cloud services unassisted
• Industry vertical experience with Data Science projects. IE - expertise in FSI, medical, defense, and intelligence verticals
• Recognized thought leadership in AI/MLOps
• Subject matter expertise and experience in AI applications (e.g., deep learning, LLM, NLP, computer vision, or pattern recognition).
• Experience in statistical programming language (e.g., Python), applied machine learning techniques, and using OSS frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with CI/CD solutions in the context of MLOps and LLMOps including automation with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (e.g. Ansible).
• Experience delivering technical presentations and leading business value sessions.
• Experience in AI systems design, with the ability to architect and explain data pipelines, ML pipelines, and ML training and serving approaches.
