Job Summary
Sembcorp Environment (SembEnviro) is seeking a Senior/ Consultant level professional to join our Clean Stream and Waste Advisory team of circularity consultants, technology specialists and waste-related subject matter experts. You will be part of client-facing project teams and initiatives that support the clean stream business. By demonstrating and providing greater value to clients, you will play a key role in developing and delivering strategic solutions, acquiring new clients, and growing existing client relationships to ensure business growth across multiple industry sectors in Singapore and around the region.
- Deliver innovative strategy solutions addressing complex problems and market trends related to decarbonising and transforming the waste industry.
- Support strategic engagements with new and existing clients working independently as well as with the broader teams, with an emphasis on data, analytics and research as required by respective clients.
- Support assigned accounts across industry segments, reflecting SembEnviro's offerings and strategic value propositions.
Key Responsibilities
You must have a strong desire to execute SembWaste’s vision towards zero waste and resource circularity, by providing clients with the strategy, concepts and insights, analytical techniques, implementation capabilities, and thought leadership to understand, address, and operate their businesses successfully.
- Grow the Clean Stream & Waste Advisory business by delivering strategic solutions to satisfy clients' needs.
- Support the development and implementation of a well-conceived business plan to grow the circularity business and client base for the Group.
- Be responsible for all aspects of assigned engagements, including directing the development of processes and techniques that improve the operation of the business and develop marketable solutions.
- Be an active participant in industry groups and have a well-established network with executives within the waste industry.
Preferred Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the waste-related consulting industry underpinned by demonstrated customer success.
- Understanding financial metrics such as profitability, revenue, overhead costs, and project finance.
- Proven experience facilitating collaboration among cross-functional, highly technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to research, develop, and launch new market solutions, products, or services.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex findings into executable strategic insights and recommendations for both executive and mid-management stakeholders.
- Cognitive flexibility and intellectual curiosity.
- Drive to develop business insights and new/creative ways of solving problems.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up like environment where deliverables and tasks may frequently change.
