Responsible for formulating corporate strategy aligned with organization goals and direction.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
Lead and coordinate special projects and enterprise-wide initiatives as required that cut across multiple functions and departments.
Provide leadership and guidance to department heads and staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance.
Gather, synthesize, and creatively analyze data to provide insights, identify issues and arrive at recommendations to the executive team.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness and overall governance for the Company.
Ensure governance structures and processes are in place to meet corporate and regulatory compliance requirements.
Faithfully and diligently perform to the best of his skill and ability in relation to his job functions and responsibilities as the Chief Corporate Officer and such other duties and responsibilities which TMLS may from time to time properly assign to him in his capacity as Chief Corporate Officer in connection with the business of TMLS.
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree, preferably Master Degree from any major.
Minimum 20 years’ experience in the finance or insurance industry with proven track record in a leadership capacity.
Strong competency in corporate management.
Strong competency in project management.
Solid knowledge and strong competency of Insurance business.
Excellent communication & presentation skills, analytical, strategic yet hands-on, independent and collaborative approach to issues.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to challenge where deemed necessary.
Good conceptual and critical thinking, interpersonal & social skills, business acumen, self-motivated and team player.
Proficiency in Japanese language is required to liaise with Japan HQ and to read Japanese reports/documents.
