We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Trade Finance to play a pivotal role in optimizing trade operations and processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trade finance instruments, international trade regulations, and a proven track record of successfully implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements related to trade finance operations.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline trade finance processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Propose and implement solutions to enhance automation and reduce manual interventions.
- Analyze trade finance data to derive meaningful insights and trends.
- Develop reports and dashboards to provide key stakeholders with actionable information.
- Stay abreast of international trade regulations and ensure that trade finance processes comply with relevant laws and standards.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to implement necessary changes based on regulatory updates.
- Utilize Oracle and PL/SQL expertise to integrate trade finance systems and enhance functionalities.
- Coordinate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of trade finance systems with other enterprise systems.
- Create comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, system design, and test plans.
- Keep documentation up-to-date to reflect changes in trade finance processes and systems.
- Provide insights for the development and enhancement of proprietary trade finance platforms.
- Identify and assess risks associated with trade finance processes and systems.
- Propose and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the security and integrity of trade finance operations
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and clients to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
- Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on new processes and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the field of Trade Finance.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle and PL/SQL is essential.
- Strong understanding of trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, trade finance regulations, and international trade practices.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
