We are seeking a sales and customer service executive based in our showroom at Bukit Merah. The role loosely encompasses the following key areas:

• Handle enquiries that come in via Whatsapp, email, phone, and walk-ins.
• Provide accurate quotes and convert leads into revenue.
• Provide appropriate customer service throughout the sales cycle.
• You are effectively the main person who will interact with customers day-to-day.

About us

We operate a number of businesses in Singapore that cut across printing, framing, art restoration, art valuation, and the sale of fine art [paintings & sculptures]. We have an excellent web presence and do not need to go hunting for business - your job is effectively to close opportunities that are provided to you via Whatsapp, Email, Phone, and those who walk-in.

As we do have walk-in customers it is a job that requires someone to be on-site Tue - Fri [10am - 6pm] and Sat [10am - 5pm].

As with any small business, each person needs to pull their weight and make an impact. We need proactive individuals with strong attention to detail who enjoy speaking to others.

We are currently offering a fixed salary with the idea of some additional commission based bonus available.

We are looking for a sales and customer services manager to support across a number of our businesses which include printing, framing, and an art gallery.

How will a typical day look?

• You would handle enquiries that come in via Whatsapp, Email, and Phone primarily. There are some customers who walk-in seeking services but the majority are via Whatsapp and Email.
• You would leverage tools and software that we have in place to accurately quote customers.
• You would create and send invoices and ensure payments are made and received.
• You would collate and document order requirements for printing and/or framing production teams.
• Handle some operational elements such as organising couriers for collections/deliveries.

Things to know

• As we do have walk-in customers this role requires you to be physically located at our offices.
• This role cuts across 3 unique companies covering printing, framing and art, but would mostly focus on handling sales and customer service for printing and framing.
• Full training will be provided, but you should be comfortable talking to people as this is critical.
• The process of quoting has been made simple thanks to software and tools we have built over the years.
• There is an opportunity to earn commission in addition to a fixed salary - to be discussed.
• Working expectations would be Tue - Fri [10am - 6pm] and Sat [10am - 5pm].
• The role will work directly with the owners.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound calls to prospects to identify sales opportunities
• Conduct research on potential customers and their industries to better understand their needs and to pitch accordingly
• Qualify leads by understanding their needs and budget
• Set up appointments for the sales team to meet with qualified prospects
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our services to effectively communicate with prospects and customers
• Follow up with leads and prospects in a timely and consistent manner to keep them engaged and move them through the sales funnel
• Keep track of all leads and opportunities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions
• Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date on our competitor's services
• Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales strategies
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly targets
• Provide accurate and timely reports on sales activities

Requirements:

• Preferred Fresher to 1+ Yrs of experience
• Understanding of sales in the construction industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Self-motivated with a passion for sales
• Bachelor's degree in ACE/ Construction or related field preferred

Key responsibilities:

• Identifying and acquiring new customers through outreach initiatives and referrals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and business development operations and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain file system, client databases and update customer records. (CRM & Excel)
• Provide sales and customer service support to the sales and business development team.
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the sales team.
• Assist in the coordination and organisation of sales events and exhibitions.
• Liaise with internal and external costing team for timely proposal submission to clients
• Assist in the preparation of sales reports, presentations, sales proposals and other sales materials.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Content and Marketing team to produce educational, informative and entertaining output in the form of infographics, illustrations and animated videos.
• Support Video projects with motion graphics and editing to produce live action videos.
• Work with the Performance Marketing team to create campaign creatives in the form of banners, landing page designs, social ads, which may be static or animated.
• Support the Product Experience team with creating relevant and delightful illustrations and motion graphics in the context of a responsive web environment
• Develop a habit of testing your designs and ideas with the team, gathering feedback and data from campaigns, social media performance and other means to justify brand direction and stylistic explorations.

Requirements

• Min 2 years experience in motion design and digital marketing or social media design in an agency, in-house design team or freelance experience.
• Strong visual portfolio with motion design, documentation from concept to delivery is a plus.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects and Illustrator. Ability in the rest of the Adobe Suite is a plus.
• Experience in creating motion graphics for responsive Web or App environments is a plus.
• Video editing experience is a plus.
