Main Responsibilities:

• Perform project design (including selection and sizing of equipment) and development activities according to customer’s specification.

• Work with Manager in developing project plan, budget and schedule.

• Work and coordinate with sales team to create quotations and follow up for service retrofit jobs.
• Source/liaise/negotiate with suppliers and vendors on quotations and requirements. Compile supplier quotation, assessment of quotations and prepare costing sheet.
• Maintain estimating logs and unit costs for all projects.
• Determine Bill of Quantity
• Any other duties as deemed appropriate.

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering/Building
• Experience and knowledge in HVAC/ACMV is a must
• Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components
• Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings and other construction documents.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Co-ordinate with all stakeholders and produce the proposal (RFI, PPQ, ITT, RFP etc.) response and submit a winning proposal respond;
• Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes;
• Organise and hold the bid kick-off meeting;
• Define the bid cost structure, with the support of Engineering team;
• Manage the interfaces with Partners and Client;
• Analyse Contract requirements and conditions;
• Assist in bid vendors list definition, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers/vendors for best offers;
• Prepare the bidding documents for the subcontract RFQ’s;
• Integrate proposal packages prepared by the individual Operating Companies and Proposal Partners (if any) and reconcile possible discrepancies;
• Clarification of bid conditions and management of the tender preparation;
• Monitoring of the bid management in order to ensure it is aligned with the organization's requirements;
• Contribution in cost and price calculations;
• Coordination of tender reviews and deadlines and adjust them to the frameworks given by the customers;
• Other scope of work to be assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with proven record in the tendering process;
• Minimum Degree in Engineering or equivalent;
• Knowledgeable and experience with appropriate codes and standards (IEC, NEMA, BS, etc);
• Experience in energy storage technology would be advantageous
