Job Objectives/Job Summary:

As a WSH Officer, he/ she is responsible in preventing and eliminating injury and illness to employees and assisting Company to comply fully with relevant and latest Workplace, Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations. He/she has to inspect workplaces, and minimize or eliminate hazards, such as incorrect working methods, and materials.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• To inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards;
• To protect employees, customers and the environment;
• To recommend changes to protect workers, and educate employees on how to prevent health problems through the use of safety training programs;
• To identify potentially hazardous materials;
• To investigate accidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future;
• To ensure that monthly inspection of Fire Extinguishers, Exit Lights and Emergency Lighting, are carried out;
• To formulate and administer comprehensive Risk Management and review safe work procedure;
• To prepare and update Safety and Health Management System;
• To implement training programs and safety promotion plan to ensure safety awareness that the operations are safe and in compliance with statutory regulations and international standards/practices;
• To assist in the evaluation and recommendation of related workplace health issues;
• Able to lead and manage safety inspections and audits; and provide advisory roles for internal audit team;
• Able to lead and manage emergency situation (e.g. Fire, Explosion, Power Failure and Gas Leakage);
• To ensure compliance to Fire Safety Act and Regulations;
• Responsible for emergency response, incident investigation and safety training program;
• To conduct periodic Environmental, Health and Safety audit on site
• To prepare and review all Risk Assessment;
• To prepare Health, Safety and Environmental reports and statutory reports in the required formats;
• Ad-hoc duties.

Job Specifications/Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, safety, engineering or equivalent.
• A qualified safety practitioner who is MOM registered WSH Officer and/or qualified Fire Safety Manager
• NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO)
• Certificates in QEHS Internal Auditing (ISO 9001, ISO 140001, OHSAS 18001)
• Minimum 5 years local working experience
• Familiar with regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health, and all other aspects of safety;
• Ability to exercise initiative, manage pressure, multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment is a must
• Excellent people management skills and good interpersonal skills

1.Ensure that all statutory regulations, code of practice, and company's EHS rules & regulations are implemented and complied with at the project site.

2.To conduct monthly EHS committee meeting with members.

3.Participate in Safety Audit

4.Assessor of PTW applications process

5.Prepare develop the Risk Assesment and Safe Work Procedures (for the various work processes) and recommend safety control measures for site implementation.

6.Review Risk Assesment and Safe Work Procedures submission by sub-contractors.

7.Conducted at least twice inspection per week with a risk assesment for each precinct and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance with on site

8.To act as the statutory of the Project EHS Committee.

9.To recommend to the Project Manager with regards to any safety lapses and recommend preventive and corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

10.Prepare and submit monthly EHS report to Consultant

11.Prepare and lead in the Safety Promotion Program

13.Lead and conduct incident investigation and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence

14.Guide and advised Site Supervisory staff on all matters related to EHS

Requirement:

• Must possess a WSQ Specialist Diploma in Safety & Health, or relevant degree.
• Good knowledge of WSH Act and other WSH related compliance.
• Must be a registered WSHO with MOM, preferably with a valid ECO Certificate.
• Min. 5 years relevant working experience.
• Able to manage safety aspect well and work alongside project team to meet timelines.

Responsibilities :

1. Coordinate all aspects of plant sales, including inventory management, pricing, and customer inquiries. Coordinates offsite and seasonal sale.

2. Assist customers in selecting plants, providing information on care and maintenance, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

3. Maintain a clean and organized sales area, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.

4. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.

5. Assist with administrative tasks, not limiting to answering phones/emailsenquiries, marketing taskand filing paperwork.

6. Assist with special projects and events, including promotional activities and community outreach efforts.

7. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the plant sales area and administrative functions.

8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and customer service standards.

Requirements:

1. Weekend working hours with weekday off. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.

2. N-level or equivalent or higher; additional education or training in horticulture or business administration is a plus.

3. Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or administrative support preferred.

4. Knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and horticultural principles is desirable.

5. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

8. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.

9. Physical ability to lift and carry plants and other merchandise, and to stand for extended periods.

10. A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
