Responsibilities:

Key Account Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly sales goals for assigned accounts.
• Partner with Operations to enhance sales, distribution, and merchandising efficiency.
• Track service levels for assigned accounts and work to reduce missed sales opportunities.

Promotion Strategy and Product Launch:

• Refine promotion tactics to boost sales.
• Set objectives and develop marketing strategies with retailers.
• Perform market research to understand industry trends and identify growth opportunities.

Product Launch:

• Facilitate new product listings with supermarket chains and oversee planning and execution of product launch activities.
• Handle product promotion proposals, negotiations, and execution.
• Coordinate with supermarket staff to secure product display space and rental during promotional periods, and enhance visual merchandising.
• Suggest and implement strategies to increase product visibility and brand recognition in stores.

Relationship Building:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers, store staff, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth operations such as stock ordering and replenishment.
• Gain insight into the customer's business environment, identify and leverage opportunities to expand market share, and recognize market threats to boost outlet profitability.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster positive relationships with clients, balancing their needs with the company's interests.

Sales Development:

• Contribute to the creation and execution of sales initiatives (e.g., new product launches, promotions, themed campaigns).
• Track and manage marketing expenses to stay within budget.
• Analyze sales data, category performance, and promotional effectiveness for assigned accounts to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide insights on market trends and competitors to stay competitive.
• Conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts to enhance sales performance and advance business growth.

Requirements:

• With 4 years of sales experience in the FMCG field.
• Exceptional customer service and presentation skills.
• Positive, dynamic and results-oriented

Set up by passionate divers and entrepreneurs, Sandbar makes family swimwear from recycled plastic bottles and pre consumer waste. In addition for every item sold, they remove 1 KG of plastic waste from our oceans. Sandbar Swimwear has already launched their first retail store and are looking at opening a second location within this year.

Sandbar is disrupting the local and international markets with a family friendly, sustainable concept that is growing fast. As such, they are looking for a Marketing and Communications Executive that is looking to work within a dynamic growth minded team.

Expect your role to grow with as Sandbar continues on an exciting journey of expansion. In conjunction with the management team the Marketing and Communications Executive will be helping to create and define their brand and tone of voice across the market.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, schedule and manage Sandbar’s social media, website and e-commerce platforms.
• Create, develop and implement marketing, branding and advertising strategies
• Working together with the management team, help to implement online sales and marketing plans to generate interest and create awareness. Includes discussing with management ideas for setting up promotions, web banners and any online related activations
• Create online marketing materials, including banners working alongside our media partners to select images and create graphics for articles.
• Creating marketing for events ( Banners, emails, posters for online and offline use)
• Creating new graphics, scheduling and managing our monthly emails to existing database
• Communicating with our ocean conversation teams for project updates
• Tapping into our partners nextworks for cross promotion opportunities
• Identifying new promotional partners and like minded companies
• Proof reading and copywriting articles and selecting lifestyle photography to feature.
• Handling customer service enquiries via email, phone call and social media where appropriate and putting them in touch with the right department
• Assist in all other marketing activities as stipulated by the management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma from reputable institutions in marketing, business or communications.
• Must be able to execute branding or advertising campaigns on social media such as corporate websites, Google, Facebook & Instagram and E-commerce sites.
• Adobe creative suite skills, Canva, Klaviyo would all be nice to haves.
• Experience in retail market and strong media contacts will have an added advantage
• Organized and highly motivated, fast learner
• Excellent communication skills in writing and oral presentation in English
• Strong interest in sustainability
• Ability to be self motived, solutions focused and proactive in driving results
