Business Function Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. The position sits within the IBG1 - Financial Institutions Group (FIG), Non-Bank Financial Services (NBFS) team which manages a portfolio of clients including fintechs, money service businesses, credit card companies, financial leasing companies, and securitisers. The candidate will report directly or indirectly to the Head of NBFS and as part of the relationship management team, you will with senior relationship managers to broaden and deepen our client relationships, by serving them with our full suite of corporate and investment banking solutions. Responsibilities Partner with senior relationship managers to originate new business and service existing clients through the provision of DBS' full suite of banking solutions including cash management, structured lending, treasury, digital services, capital markets and advisory. Daily duties will include liaising with and managing clients, supporting new account opening documentation and onboarding (e.g. KYC / AML), assist in formulating and executing the account plans to grow wallet share, writing credit memos (quantitative and qualitative analysis), and completing annual reviews. Manage client relationship directly and support relationship managers (onshore and offshore) to execute transactions end-to-end from origination to completion in a timely and efficient manner, including coordinating with clients, internal and external parties, and assisting to handle documentation and negotiations for transaction documents. Perform business, industry and customer research to ensure the team is abreast of the latest trends and developments and maintain client mindshare. Analyse and compile data and prepare power point presentations for the purpose of internal reporting and strategy presentations. Candidate will gain significant exposure to the payments fintech industry, cross-border payments, and asset backed securitisation. Requirements A recognised Bachelor's degree; the ideal candidate will have a finance-related (e.g. Accounting, Business, Economics) or quantitative degree (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics). up to 2 years of relevant experience in corporate and investment banking, cross-border payments, and/or structured lending. Strong client management skills, AML/CFT understanding and as well as soft skills in managing and collaborating with external and internal parties in the course of work. Team player who is able to multi-task and work under pressure to complete assignments/projects under tight deadlines. A self-starter who is adaptable, resourceful, and results-oriented. Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
