HCG also reviews and implements hawker-related policies that benefit both hawkers and the public. As a Asst Mgr/ Manager (Operations and Engagement) in HCG, you will be carrying out the following duties:

What you will be working on

1. Tenancy Management

• End-to-end management of stall tenancies, from ensuring stalls are in tenantable condition, onboarding of new stallholders to processing applications of transfers, assignments, joint operators and termination as well as appeals for rental waivers, rebates and remissions etc.

• Conducting tenancy inspections and enforcements to ensure compliance to relevant statutory and tenancy requirements.

• Managing arrears such as stall visits, serving of Notice-To-Quits, executing Writ of Seizure & Sales/Writ of Possession etc.

• Managing the facilities in MSE-owned Hawker Centres through centre level checks, covering facilities maintenance (preventive and routine maintenance), cyclical repairs and redecorations, ad-hoc improvement works to enhance patrons’ experience, incident management, general and toilet cleaning, table-cleaning management, and pest control.

• Conducting centre surveillance in HDB-owned Hawker Centres to flesh out areas of concerns to stakeholders such as Regional Offices, Town Councils and Hawkers Associations.

• Appointed by Designated Person (DP) as the Environmental Control Coordinator (ECC) for each hawker centre / wet market, to develop the ES programme in accordance with the ES standards and monitor its implementation on-site.

3. Feedback/Appeals Management & Stakeholders’ Engagement

• Managing feedback providers professionally to ensure that their feedback are being addressed or resolved promptly in accordance to NEA’s service standard.

• Regular engagement with stakeholders including stallholders, Merchants/Hawkers Association (MA/HA), Town Councils, other Agencies etc to implement initiatives and resolve operational issues related to Hawker Centres.

• Planning and implementing activities and programmes in Hawker Centres, such as fire drills & safety training and spring cleaning, and liaise closely with relevant authorities and stakeholders.

4. Emergency Preparedness and Contingency Management/Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)

• Implementation of safety measures and future proof markets/hawker centres to safeguard against extreme weather and/ or civil or national emergency.

• Adhering and identifying potential WSH risks and working with stakeholders to mitigate the risks.

• Facilitate Safety Walkabouts at markets/ hawker centres to drill the importance of safety into staff, stallholders and outsourced contractors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for Project Development and Facilities Management of the workplace (research and office), aligned with A*STAR?s strategic goals in research.

The job scope encompasses project development and manage project life-cycle from space/concept planning to building facilities which are of quality and incorporated smart features. Post project development, the job holder will take lead in contract management and ensuring A*STAR's facilities are managed in a safe and sustainable manner, and value-for-money.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Formulate development strategies on space management, infrastructure planning, project development and management in ensuring optimal and sustainable design to facilitate world-class scientific research.
• Translate users' requirements to design brief & technical specifications, establish project budget for the procurement of consultancy services and construction contracts.
• Advise and evaluate the technical specifications to ensure sound engineering approach and / or technologies are exploited at reasonable cost.
• Oversee and control construction timeline to ensure that the projects are completed safely, on schedule, fulfill budget marksmanship and meets the specified (quality) standards.
• Manage project meetings between project team, users, consultants, contractors for effective execution of project milestones.
• Establish and define requirements for facilities maintenance, establish maintenance programs factoring environmental sustainability and cost effectiveness.

• Implement and review maintenance engineering initiatives to achieve higher reliability, maintainability and serviceability.
• Establish contracts in support of facilities management & maintenance of various infrastructure e.g. ACMV / M&E services, BMS, Gas and Chemical Systems, Security Access Control, Cleaning & Pest Control, Landscaping, General Building services etc.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related fields
• Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in project development and / or facilities management in research and/ or industrial facility.

• Monitor and track loan units
• Housekeep Sample Inv / Storeroom & Raise DMs for disposals if not relevant anymore (with support)
• Review and suggest process improvement if applicable.

Marketing Support:

• Act as shadow to branch person-in-charge to assume marketing implementation
• Collate sales & marketing data and analyse data to identify potential gaps with appropriate actions. Carry out marketing executional plans.
• Gather competitor’s information and competitors’ analysis for SEA region
• Manage and monitor social media content and support marketing communication materials for branches

General Administration:

• Meeting and schedule arrangement for regional, team and all other meetings.
• Support for the physical setup of the meeting room.

We are looking for a self-motivated candidate with expertise in high performance digital design, DSP and mixed signal modeling join our cryogenic CMOS-based quantum control project. This candidate will work closely with our digital and analog design team as well as with the local physics and material designers to develop low-power, high fidelity and highly scalable control and read-out SoC for superconducting qubit-based quantum computing applications.

Job Description:

· Digital IC Design and system-level exploration:

o Lead and contribute to co-optimization between on-chip memory and DSP design and analog front-end (i.e. DAC, BPF, Mixer, LNA and ADC) to ensure high quantum control/readout as well as to optimize power consumption per channel

o Emphasize system-level perspective in the design process, considering overall system architecture and functionality

o Apply a deep understanding of cryogenic temperature effects on digital ICs and implement design strategies for optimal performance in low-temperature environments

o RTL implementation for custom circuit design using Verilog/SystemVerilog with focus on DDS, Filter and Error Correction Code

· Simulation, Verification, and Implementation:

o Conduct thorough simulation and verification of mixed signal designs to validate quantum control fidelity and digital-analog interface throughput

o Utilize FPGA in digital IC designs, leveraging its flexibility and reconfigurability for system emulation and architecture exploration

o Perform timing analysis and collaborate with the team to optimize designs for timing closure

• Publish research works in prestigious conferences and Journals such as ISSCC, VLSI Symp, A-SSCC, DAC, JSSC and TCAS-I/II
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to seamlessly integrate digital ICs into the overall system architecture
• Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports
• Troubleshoot and debug digital IC designs with a focus on identifying and addressing system-level issues
