Our client, an US Based MNC in the Aerospace industry, is seeking for a suitable and passionate candidate to join the team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the team to achieve key growth targets by providing customer service to the assigned portfolio of customer accounts
• Work closely with sales team to assist campaigns for leads generation across company’s range of products
• Manage customer forecast and provide regular feedback to the planning team
• Monitor and manage the administration of assigned customers including but not limited to Contract review and Quotes generation
• Handle the order management process for both spares and repairs
• Be the main contact person for assigned customers; manage enquiries and cases
• Provide regular report and updates including sales metrics, customer satisfaction and month end
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/ Business Management or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of inside sales experience
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office will be advantageous

Position Summary

As a S&OP Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective coordination of supply chain and materials planning activities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in supply chain management, materials planning, and S&OP processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of optimizing inventory levels, improving forecast accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, production, and procurement teams to gather and analyse data for demand planning and forecasting purposes.
• Utilize advanced planning tools and software to generate accurate demand forecasts, considering market trends, historical data, and other relevant factors.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure production schedules align with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
• Analyse and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to S&OP, highlighting areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide regular updates and insights to management regarding supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights, coordinate plans, and address any issues impacting the S&OP process.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in supply chain management.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in supply chain management, materials planning, and S&OP processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and use data to drive decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using supply chain planning software and tools.
• Knowledge of best practices in inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
