Responsibilities

· Assisting in corporate secretarial work, including advisory work, preparing resolutions and meeting minutes.
· Handling ACRA lodgements.
· Providing advice on compliance requirements and ensuring client’s compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for Singapore or offshore jurisdictions.

• Bank Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements with company records to ensure that all transactions match. Identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
• Data Entry: Accurate and timely entry of financial data into accounting systems or spreadsheets.
• Accounts Receivable and Payable: Managing accounts receivable by tracking customer payments and following up on overdue accounts. Managing accounts payable by processing vendor invoices and making sure bills are paid on time.
• Assisting in Audits: Providing documentation and information to auditors during internal or external audits. Ensuring that all required documents are organized and readily available.
• Voucher and Journal Entries: Creating vouchers and journal entries to accurately record various financial transactions.
• Filing and Documentation: Organizing and maintaining financial records, documents, and reports in a systematic manner.
• Software and Tools: Proficiency in using accounting software and tools for data entry, calculations and report generation.
• Communication: Collaborating with other team members within the finance department and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information exchange.

Responsibilities

You will assist the team in providing a full spectrum of professional corporate secretarial services. This includes setting up, maintenance and dissolution of local and overseas companies, advising clients on various corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters.

Requirements

• Relevant corporate secretarial experience in law firms, corporate secretarial firms or public listed companies.
• Experience in handling companies listed with the SGX, advise on Listing Manual, Catalist Rules of SGX-ST, release of SGX announcements, etc.
• Experience in taking minutes of meetings for Board of Directors' and Shareholders' meetings.
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin. (in order to handle queries from English and Mandarin speaking counterparts in regards with the corporate secretarial matters and also to schedule appointments for English and Mandarin speaking clients.)
