Job Purpose
Are you passionate about connecting customers with products that meet their needs? Join Great Eastern as a Product Specialist, Telemarketing, where you'll have the opportunity to market personal line products to OCBC customers through outbound efforts and provide exceptional service for inbound sales inquiries.
You will also take charge of achieving sales goals and finding new ways to grow your customer base with cross-selling and up-selling strategies.
The Job
- Achieve sales target KPIs, call quality and operational standards;
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling;
- Handle and follow up with customer enquiries with confidence;
- Convert leads provided by the bank to sales through telemarketing activities;
- Ensure calls are conducted with full adherence to regulations and in line with Quality Assurance standards;
- Liaise with internal departments on policy fulfillment;
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Our Requirements
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
- Comfortable with outbound calls and stakeholder interactions
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
- Patient and resilient to handle rejection and objections
- Independent, organized, and positive worker with excellent interpersonal skills
- Good team player with ability to multitask and meets high service standards;
- Proficient in Microsoft office and able to mulit-task to efficiently reply to enquiries; Meticulous in documentation and fulfillment work
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level / Diploma;
- Relevant insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI and HI will be preferred;
- Prior experience in the insurance industry will be advantageous;
