Be at the crossroads of emerging technology and impactful storytelling. We are looking for a Senior Manager/Manager to drive the marketing and communications initiatives for the Biz Tech Group at IMDA. The Biz Tech group focuses on driving industry adoption of frontier technologies such as responsible AI, 5G/6G, and Large Language Models, and works within our research and development ecosystem to drive upstream research and translation at scale that will uplift Singapore’s Digital Economy.
The successful candidate will design the appropriate voice to deliver our value to communities of interest. You will capture the essence of our initiatives, translate
technical jargons to ensure accessibility and articulate impact for both technical and non-technical audiences. You will also develop content strategy and engaging content that educates and inspires target audiences across various channels to generate interest and engagement. Your creativity of how emerging technologies can be used will catalyse innovative collaboration among businesses and research communities.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimise marketing and communications strategy, including demand generation campaigns, branding and communications for emerging technologies and initiatives.
- Craft compelling narratives and translate into effective marketing campaigns and engagements in a planned manner.
- Work with leadership, engineering and marketing teams to align business unit priorities and ensure efforts are communicated effectively to communities that matters, including but not limited to key opinion leaders spread across private and government institutes.
- Leverage the full marketing mix of digital and communication tools to create targeted campaigns for each technology initiative, maximising impact while solidifying our brand value and preference.
- Understand technical nuances and create, source, write, edit, and proofread diverse content such as technical blogs, digital content, thought leaders articles, case studies.
- Cultivate and maintain brand and reputation as a thought leader and be a collaborative partner to orchestrate marketing activities across government, academia and industry. Analyze data, feedback, and metrics to measure the effectiveness of engagement initiatives and inform future strategies.
Requirements:
- Holds at least Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in marketing and communications, or related field, with experience in digital innovation or emerging technologies
- At least 8 years of experience in engaging communities in the technology scene, with a passion for innovation and knowledge of tech scene.
- A creative mindset to develop innovative and engaging strategies for community engagement, considering different communication channels and their specific requirements
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to convey the value proposition and key messages to various channels and adapt messaging to resonate with different audience segments
- Resourceful, strategic, and problem-solving skills optimise strategies for maximum impact and reach
- Enthusiastic team player who inspires and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.
