• Work with senior leadership at the corporate, business unit and functional level to drive strategic investments, business and corporate development in respect of the group’s core businesses in Asia, the Middle East and other key regions for the SATS group.
• Leading team(s) in respect of the execution of key projects and initiatives.
• Identify and develop business prospects/opportunities to grow SATS’ investments and network in the region and contribute to the Group’s long-term profit growth.
• Develop joint-ventures, partnerships and other related opportunities which includes formulating and negotiating terms with prospective partners and preparing bid submissions.
• Build a reference base of business prospects and gather market intelligence.
• Review/prepare presentations/memorandums/submissions/reports with respect to potential projects, transactions and initiatives for senior management and/or the Board.
• Support and drive such other strategic projects as may be identified from time to time by management, including but not limited to post-investment assessment and strategic optimization and reorganization initiatives. Support the due diligence process, including assisting with framing due diligence objectives, supporting due diligence teams, and coordinating in the reporting of due diligence findings to senior leadership for a target entity
• Work with key stakeholders to translate deal strategy into integration success, focus on identifying sources of transaction value and developing measurable key success factors to track integration achievement, and lead project management activities across the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) life cycle, including schedule and scope development, issue and risk management, and strategic planning and analysis.
• More generally, to plan, develop and execute M&A transactions which will include undertaking feasibility studies, financial modeling, deal structuring and negotiations as well as managing transaction documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Accounting/Business Studies/Finance/Banking or equivalent.
• CFA/CPA (or equivalent) would strengthen the application but is not required.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in Corporate Finance/Investment Banking and/or Corporate Development or similar function.
• Preferably with some overseas work exposure to emerging markets (e.g. China, India, SEA, Middle East).
• Experience within the air transport industry and food services spaces is a plus.
• Ability to work with cross-functional business teams to identify fundamental business drivers and risks to those drivers, and translate them into actionable plans.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse groups and senior-level management

This role is based in our Singapore office, where you will join the APAC Customer Success Team. Responsibilities:

• Gathers market intelligence for current pursuits, develops the forecast and assesses Thales' positioning versus the competition from a commercial, legal, support services and technical standpoints;
• Shares the information collected within the APAC team to collectively define the right strategy to win in the region, in regards of airlines' expectations and the competition's positioning.
• Feedback to the IFE Business Line about information collected from the market ('boots on the ground') and proposes product evolutions in view of meeting current and future needs of the airlines to take a competitive edge.
• Responsible for key accounts, satisfaction and intimacy with Thales: identifies the stakeholders, face-offs, continuously engages with the airline aiming at developing a strong intimacy with its key stakeholders.;
• Identify airlines' pain points, vision, relationships with competition and defines accordingly its strategy to win on each account and campaign/pursuit: face-offs, price to win, target price, required solution, required development, campaign details (T0, A/C deliveries, etc...), timing;
• Builder of the winning offer: leads the capture: drums the beat of the proposal preparation: liaise with the bid team, engineering, legal, finance, support, etc…
• Entertains the gate process in coordination with the VP Customer Success and makes sure to deliver our proposals on time, with the right technical solution and at the winning price;
• Promotes Thales IFEC solutions during trade shows and organize Sr Management Meetings with the BL's Leadership whenever required;
• Accountable for market updates and financial reporting toward the BL;
• Coordinates closely with the AGS APAC Team (support & repairs) to ensure the maximum satisfaction of our customer and building winning new systems + support offers;
• Visit customers on a regular basis and organize demos when relevant;
