Job Scope

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ocean freight department and resolve any operational-related problem.
• Lead and supervise the Ocean operation team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, port operators, and other key stakeholders.
• Support Ocean Business Development and Trade Lane Management.
• Monitor and explore the market for acquiring new Ocean Freight business.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting ocean freight operations.
• Prepare reports and analyses on department performance for upper management.
• Ensure compliance with all international trade and shipping regulations.
• Other assignments by management if any.

Requirement

• Degree in Logistics Management / Business Administration or equivalent
• 5 – 8 years of relevant working experience in freight forwarding (FCL/LCL) experience
